- Hengdian World Studios, the world's biggest film studios. We are experiencing the Hollywood of China, and in the mean time I think a new history channel has been born with my history tips. Visit the Forbidden City without any tourists and much more. So much more even that I had to put this video in two parts.

Hengdian World Studios has loads to offer and could be the Chinese version of Hollywood. In part 1 we will explore our first day in Hengdian. This covers the Forbidden City and a visit to the old Guangzhou and Hong Kong Street. We even ended up as being an actor in one of the performances.
Little spoiler: I can definitely recommend you to visit this place.

Do you want to visit Hengdian World Studios?
Have you ever been to a film set?
I didn't even know about Hengdian World Studios. What an amazing place. I would love to visit it.
It is a very interesting place. While it is fake and meant for movies, it will give you a great perspective of Chinese history.
That is so cool! You have no idea how many of those movies I have watched and wondered where they were filmed. I have been to the Forbidden City and there is no way the filming would happen there. I do not think it is possible. There are many buildings but they are mostly closed to the public. This is unreal to see. It looks identical.
Yes all that filming happens here indeed. A city that is just a big movie set.
Somewhere we will never be able to go. So is lovely to get glimpses wonderful night view of the 1930’s street 🙏🌈👍
Really amazing, didn’t know about this place, it’s lovely...In India there’s a Film City called Ramoji Film City
Maybe I should go there once. We wanted to go to a similar place in Morocco but it was closed at that time due to Ramadan.
Where would you stay if you visited these studios?
Hi, I would also like to play for 1min in a chinese movie. Did you ask them to participate?
No they came to me surprisingly. But it was loads of fun. If you ever visit this place I hope you have the same chance of doing this.
