as a local resident, from childhood i believe the world should be just like it. now from other visitors we realize our city is so unique and different.
There are cities that shouldn't be like this, Moscow for example or Berlin just have so much history and Old architecture, open spaces and monuments and turning them into a cyberpunk like City wouldn't be popular with the population, but i 'd love if every country had at least one of these if they can afford it.
This place is ridiculous. I visited 2 years ago and the city felt like something out of a movie or video game. There were SO many people and buildings upon buildings far into the distance. Truly and outrageous city

Having lived in CQ for 14 years I spent much of my free time exploring and blogging about what I found on various English language forums so I appreciate what you've managed to cover in such a short pithy video. Well done. Just a comment about the population though.... Chongqing is the name of the municipality annexed from Sichuan in 1997 which includes the capital city of Chongqing and multiple second and third tier cities, hundreds of small towns, and thousands of villages. The population of 30+ million refers to the municipalities population, not that of the capital city ! CQ has changed so much since I first stepped off a plane in early 2003. Some cities really have their own character, this one reminds me of the movie "Big Trouble in Little China" 1986. Or yes like she said "Blade Runner" 1982 and "Blade Runner 2049". I could dig it there.
I don’t know if this is the same to others, but I found that my stomach takes two to four days to get used to the local dishes when I travel. So it’s really important to try staying for longer than 4 days if you enjoy trying out local dishes like I do. Rushing it isn’t really a wise decision, take it slow and let it sink it, then you’ll be able to truly experience the travel.

@@Nicofilms Yeah. It's a video game to be released this January 20.
@@yacchaga Oh cool! This would make a good place for a video game haha
I've always enjoyed her videos.
Despite wars and politics there will always be kind hearted people who love to explore the world and what humans can accomplish. Like Jackie Chan will always be my favorite actor ever 🥰 him and other actors allowed me to adore chinas way of life. Simple like a cup of tea ☕️
seeing it at night is insane!

It looks much more developed than the US. I'd love to visit that place one day.

The fact that this city exists just shows how amazing civil engineering is
Some cities really have their own character, this one reminds me of the movie "Big Trouble in Little China" 1986. Or yes like she said "Blade Runner" 1982 and "Blade Runner 2049". I could dig it there.
you guys deserve more likes
I really love your videos, keep rocking!
Thank you so much! Keep watching we appreciate the support!
It is 12pm here in México, always used to watch some of your videos before going to my bed 👌
@@chanelEnriqueLop0408 Aww thanks!!
This is my home.. I'm living in the UK now, I miss Chongqing so much! thanks for sharing your experience in Chongqing!
Hi! Do you know what is the area Nico talks about in 5.00 , where one can see alleys and old buildings ? Thanks
Hi Nico. just realized that the old lady danced in front of your camera in Hong Ya Dong is 何永智 He Yongzhi, who is the owner of the Hong Ya Dong. :P
It sure is! We actually interviewed her for one of our videos: ua-cam.com/video/k6U1nw2z8WM/v-deo.htmlsi=mT7we2sreYSHvccu
