Great video. Data Center HVAC systems are a converging point for a lot of Engineering disciplines - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, IT Infrastructure Engineers etc
Here is an interesting fact I learned from a video about the Amundsen Scott South Pole Station. There is a building that contains all the computer data center equipment. This is the only building that has to be forced cooled because of all the computer equipment in it. All other buildings and the Amundsen Scott raised station require heating all the time to keep them warm because of the extremely cold environment.
Excellent explanation and my topic of research is HVAC systems of data centers. Can I use these images for my thesis? Where can I get these images? is there any research article in which these images are present?
Indirect evaporative cooling limit of product air temperature is wet bulb. Dew-point indirect regenerative air cooling breaks this barrier and cools approaching dew-point, not wet-bulb temperature. Would MEP Academy report on it, including use case of data center cooling?
@@MEPAcademy If you lower the back pressure from the hot side it will pull more cold air through the cold side. You already have physics working for you since hot air tends to be less dense, and lower pressure than cooler air.
@@rolandotillit2867 I believe you're talking about the typical Hot Aisle Containment Strategy as shown in the video. The hot aisle air is contained and is drawn back to the Air Handler or CRAC unit by the negative side of the fan.
The voice, tone, speed of explaining, pictorial representations are top notch. Beautifully and calmly presented.
Thank you.
yes, i agree and furthermores, very good!
Best video available in Data centre HVAC Cooling
Thank you

You're correct. Thanks for watching.
I agree one of the better explanation of the different systems.
Thanks for watching.

My pleasure! Thanks for watching.
Very good explanation can you please share a pdf on this
Thank you.Well Explained.👍👍👍
You are welcome
Do you know what are the average outlet water temperatures from the chillers for these applications? Would water need go below 0°C?
Not below 0C. Each will be different but 5C would be a good outlet temp.

Great video
Thanks!
Congratulations and Complements from Wizards Design.
Thank you!
Amazing stuff!
Thanks for watching.
Expansion shroud around the hot air outlet would increase efficiency with no moving parts.
Any strategy that prevents the hot air from mixing with the cold air would be helpful.

@@MEPAcademy Yes! Small details like these, compound and combine to significant improvements in efficiency. Everybody wins.
Awesome !
Thank you.
