As a hairstylist even to my clients I still say ITS YOUR HAIR I will never judge you for doing anything to it at home. Because it’s your’s. Zero shaming and I think that’s so important. You have got to have the strongest hair in the world if that's the only breakage you get. I was giving a little side eye to the “even out the breakage” idea but yknow what, you were right. The back looks good 😂 next time you trim the bob (if you do again) it could be a CUTE layered cut back there. I can’t wait to see the bright copper!

Literally today was thinking of removing my current very dark hair color and bleaching it blonde, but was afraid I his would happen to me . I’m taking this as my sign to not touch it lol.

As someone who EASILY gets bored with my hair but struggles with finances and experiments at home, I am constantly adding and removing color from my hair, cutting my own hair, and wanting different things. My family and friends always say "I thought you were gonna leave it alone for a while" yeah, I may have said that, but LISTEN, some of us say shit we don't mean when we want to spend less or protect the integrity of our hair until we get BORED or dissatisfied with our hair! Big deal. It's our hair.

what a coincidence... I just made the decision to bleach parts of my currently black hair (with a long hair dye history) tomorrow. I did two test strands from areas with different dye histories and they turned like a strawberry level 9 in the worst spots and a really nice level 10+ where my hair has never been lightened before. It will be crispy and break off in some areas but I'm sooo excited to tone it gray. Your hair turned out really nice!! Really makes me hope mine will too

I actually love the breakage in the back! Lol. I have my hair purposely cut like that because I’m still in my emo/scene kid phase at 32 & I don’t see myself growing out of it in this lifetime. My hair will forever & always look like it’s been put through a paper shredder & im okay with that. Gives it good body!

Oof gurl Effasol is maddening but works so well! I use the 10 vol with it too, but I also mix in some hair mask with it all and it prevents some of that breakage. This was the only thing that got arctic fox Transylvania out of my hair completely and it was so stressful with all the breakage 😅

Those results were pretty damn good! I'm always so excited to see how you do YOUR hair. Not because I judge but because I love watching the process. Maybe it's cause I too love experimenting with my own hair. For instance, I recently had a similar situation with banding where I dyed over my roots that weren't lightened previously. Instead of fixing it I left it alone for a while then once my roots were grown out enough I just gave myself a short pixie cut. 😂 Anywho, can't wait to see the carrot copper. 🥕🧡

I stopped using effasol because it broke my hair using with water. I think it’s because I have well water and it changes how products process. Like 7 vol acts like 20 vol due to what’s left in my hair. I used color oops the other day to try and remove my well water staining. Nothing else was working. It worked, not 100% out but significantly less staining. I did a Malibu and an acidic bonding concentrate treatment. Then I toned the next day and did an olaplex treatment.

I have been absolutely DEVOURING all your hair color remover videos and still so undecided on what I should use. I have half deep purple on top and black underneath. Not sure if I should use the good ole ColorOops which I have success in the past or try the Loreal one you used in this video. I have never tried it but unsure if itll be better for the colors I am trying to get rid of!
Definitely try color oops first! Color oops normally turns purple blue so just beware 🫶🏻

I love L’Oréal color remover. If I need to remove some color and I don’t feel like bleaching my roots. I’ll use this and follow up with a bonding treatment so my hair won’t fall out. ❤❤❤
I understand why you do this. I'm not a Bleach fan. I got level 9 highlights on my level 4 dark brown hair. I liked the difference (first hair dye experience) but then i hated how it grew out and faded to a level 6-7 brown/bronze. I dyed it purple with manic panic deadly nightshade, violet night amplified and the other violet. The deadly nightshade and violet night turned my hair a purple black.
Always love your attitude. I am pretty much the same everytime I bleach or color remove my hair I am fully expeting the worse and say it is just hair and it will grow back. I rather loose it then be unhappy with what I have to avoid it. Also pusing it too the limits give you an oppertunity to learn what your hair can or cannot handle. After all you did to you hair you are fully aware and if you are ok with loosing it in the worst case scenario I see no reason why people should complain. For me I just love to see hwat things you do and I learn from that as well. Beside that I have the feeling your hair grows pretty fast as well like mine does too. Don't apologies just stay weird!

I wanted to buy effasor, too. But the hairdresser store clerk recommended Schwarzkopf's bond enforcing color remover, since effasor tends to be extra drying. Tbh, I used effasor a lot and it always works absolutely magnificent, but yeah, it's super drying as well. So I'm really excited to try out this new product and to get my pink hair, cus I'm soooo done with this blueish mess I have now.

Haven’t watched yet but NOOOO. I liked this remover when i had HEALTHY hair bc how quick it was but once you’ve been coloring bleaching and removing colors for a while, it is NOT the move since it’s still a bleach based remover. It’s quite harsh

Sometimes we do things to our hair because we just want to or its therapeutic. Playing with colour 🌈brings you joy and for me its cutting mine. Do you girl❤ , you really can't please everyone and you shouldn't feel like you should ...and I think that gingery colour would be a vibe on you

😂😂 girl get your dye on. If I had a nickel for everytime I said I was going to finally grow out my natural hair color. Not even a month later inspired by some new color idea 🤪
End result doesn’t look bad at all. You know I’m looking at it from a perspective your willingness to do anything to your own hair also allows people who’d treat breakage from damage if that was their own hair as the end of the world that it’s just hair it will grow back and that they can live vicariously through you and get the satisfaction of lots of changes without fear.

I've used that color remover for years and never had any breakage but then again I only switch to different shades of red.

Mine is reddish copper. I've been trying to get rid of it. My hair is like yours blonde in the front and copper color in the back but past my Butt shorter parts in the front cause I've bleached the crap out of it. It was black cause I dyed it black then I wanted to go back blonde or light brown. I used color oops. It worked maybe to well 😂 it took my hair even lighter than it's natural color & my reddish undertones are now showing. I lightened it up more and nope made it look redder. My mom who is a cosmologist toned it twice but nothing seems to dim down the reddish color. Do I just need to dye it darker or lift it way lighter? Do what you want to ur hair girl it's your hair! Idk why ppl get upset it's not their hair. Someone please recommend what I should do to get this reddish color out. I'd love to just go back to my natural color like a very dark blonde/ very light brown. I'm not a professional but know a little. I do bleach my own hair and tone it.

Im curious as to why you don't use things like olaplex or k18 mixed into your color and/or color removers along with the maintenance products since you're a licensed stylist and actually have access to both the professional and at-home consumer products? No hate at all I'm just wondering

If this isn't potentially me right now. I went copper in August and the color wasn't the brighter carrot color I was expecting. Now almost three rounds later I have multi toned copper hair, some parts are a darker copper and some parts are that beautiful orangey copper. I just would love to have a full head of the carrot (orangey) copper, but I don't want to fry my hair =(
