I'm in Cappadocia now and stoked to find this video because I wasn't sure what hikes were where and how to sort of get started on them. Thank you for the video. Oh! Where exactly was that cave cafe in Pigeon Valley/Uchisar hike you shot in? I have to take photos in some clothes in that sort of setting so I'm hoping you know which one it was!? Thank you guys.
It’s halfway up the pigeon valley trail! It’s hard to explain or pin it on a map but you should be all fine, it’s right along the trail! Enjoy Cappadocia 😊
Such an amazing video, thank you! Heading out in September, and would love to capture some shots at night of the stars above some of the chimneys - would you say there are some good locations walkable from Goreme to capture this sort of thing? Just wondering as we won't have a car!
Thanks for watching 😊Yes absolutely!! Göreme is in the middle of all the beautiful chimneys and so you can easily walk to some of the valleys like Swords or Pigeon valley. I can imagine it being very dark so be careful to not slip down! Some of the rocks can be slippery
We didn’t because there’s so many little side trails that you can follow (and which lead you all to the same spot) that we didn’t think it would be helpful but more annoying 😄 have fun!!!
That would be great! We actually went to Crete in 2021 for a couple weeks. We watched your video on Balos Beach before going there and it actually really helped us in our planning. Thank you for the great Greece content 👊 will definitely connect with you when we’re back in Greece again
@@worldwildhearts so glad to hear that! Will be doing more of those since western Crete (where we live) has countless options, not known to many. Would be great to share with you when you head our way. Boarding soon to Cappadocia. We watched your video 3 times to explore as much as possible. As long as the weather allows us to. Take care and all the best! ❤️
Mid-November will be cold! But it's definitely possible. Just make sure to have enough days there as there might be some cancellations due to the weather at that time (it can be cancelled 3 days in a row for example). We have a video about the hot air balloon: ua-cam.com/video/78gqUZBeXd4/v-deo.html. We made our trip with Royal Balloon and highly recommend them.
We couldn't find the Red Valley Trail specifically when we were there. We wanted to combine it with the Rose Valley trail, which starts at the Red Valley Viewpoint parking lot. However, after exploring the Rose Valley, we could only find some small trails that went through a canyon and it wasn't well marked or too spectacular. Maybe you'll find it! But Rose Valley was 100% worth it to do and our favorite trail in Cappadocia
We were there from the end of October until the beginning of November (2 weeks). Still pretty nice and sunny during the days! Only the evenings and nights were very cold

Hahaha

Nice presentation! Great job! Going tomorrow morning! Any chance you recorded the hikes and have the gpx files? :)

@@worldwildhearts thank you! Flying soon to Goreme. Keep up the great work and drop me a line if you make it to Crete. Can point out some great hikes.

What fitness level do you recommend for these hikes?
The hikes are for beginner-intermediate hikers! Just make sure you have an offline map downloaded because the routes aren't always straightforward
Hi - Could you please recommend hotair balloon companies and if mid November is good time to visit Cappadocia.
Thanks!

Hi Guys. How did you manage to use a drone in Cappadocia? I'd love to bring one but the official sites warn that it's not permitted.
This was filmed years ago. I can imagine they’re banned there now
What rental company did you use for the car? Any recommendations?
It was a very local company in the town of Ürgüp. There aren’t many choices available and we got a very old manual car… 😅
How about Red Valley Trail?
We couldn't find the Red Valley Trail specifically when we were there. We wanted to combine it with the Rose Valley trail, which starts at the Red Valley Viewpoint parking lot. What month of the year? it looks sunny but you guys were wearing seem to be a thick layer?
We were there in November! It was pretty chilly indeed (during winter it often snows as well)
Are there mountains do prayers over there
Lots of space in the landscape there so I'm sure you can find a spot!
In which month were you there?
We were there from the end of October until the beginning of November (2 weeks). Still pretty nice and sunny during the days! Only the evenings and nights were very cold
