There are twelve extant subfamilies of bovids, Ovibovinae (Muskox, Takin, Gorals, Serows, Chamoises, Mountain Goat, and Tahrs), Hippotraginae (Grazing Antelope), Alcelaphinae (Hartebeest, Wildebeests, Hirola, and Tsessebees), Peleinae (Grey Rhebok), Reduncinae (Reedbucks, Waterbuck, Kob, Puku, and Lechwes), Bovinae (Cattle, Spiral-Horned Antelope, Nilgai, and Cousingha), Caprinae (Goats and Sheep), Saiginae (Saiga Antelope and Tibetan Antelope), Neotraginae (Dwarf Antelope), Cephalophinae (Duikers), Aepycerotinae (Impala), and Antilopinae (Gazelles and True Antelope).
