My Cherie Perfect Shower is a product for styling your hair the day after you wash them. Usually, Japanese wash their hair at night. The next morning, they spray it on their hair (if they have bed hair, neguse in Japanese) and wait it to dry or use a hair dryer to make bed hair gone :)
The eye masks that heat up are sooooo lovely. They’re like a weak version of those hand warmer thingys you can get in wintertime to put in your boots or mittens.
YES! They're part of my 'afternoon nap after work' routine in the wintertime. I reuse them as sleeping masks at night until the cotton ear band stretches to the point of being unusable. Such a great product.
My hair loves the Tsubaki hair mask. Leaves my hair so soft and the scent is so fresh (Fino was too heavily scented for me). I've heard Fino is for high porosity hair while Tsubaki is for low porosity hair. I need that scalp cleansing gel, it sounds like a great refresh treatment. I've added it to my shopping list 👍🏼
Dear Felicia, thank you so much for your videos! I had super-nervous and tense day but watching Beauty Within videos makes me feel sooooo comfortable, relaxed and safe. Many-many thanks for your positive vibes that you share with your followers)) Sometimes it means so much for us!
I don't know why youtube wasn't allowing me to reply to your question Fel so I'll do it here instead. I have the kissme heroine speedy mascara remover, the pair acne spot treatment and the hatomugi skin conditioner (toner). All 3 have become staples for me. After this video I'm extra curious to try the scalp serum for hair loss since I've been struggling with it lately as well as the brown liquid eyeliners since my brown eyeliner just ran out. Thank you for this really informative video! Lots of love ❤❤❤❤❤
so glad u guys are finally doing more j-beauty! I find their variety of sunscreens better than k-beauty ones. j-beauty products aren't advertised as much globally, because that's Japan for you. keep the best within the country here and don't mind not being on the global map. do more j-beauty reviews please!
I've been using that heroine makeup mascara remover for years.. it makes removing makeup so easy.. it's fun to see how it's popular among influencers these days. i was wondering why it wasn't talk about in the past. I thought it's normal.. but turns out people are still so suprised for it's existence even today!!
I love Japanese beauty and have for 15 years as I used to live in Japan, and also visit ever 2 years, so I stock up on all my faves. K beauty is more recent for me since 2020 but have been using Japanese stuff since 2009. I used up the Tsubaki shampoos a few times but they have sulphates so stopped. I prefer other brands that are PPT or Amino shampoos, like LUFT, Sleek, Botanist, Unlable, Diane for the hair milk and oil. The N Oil is also really good! Nameraka Sana is one of my favourite Japanese skincare brands, using it since my teens.
awww wishing you the BEST time in Japan!! you're going to be overwhelmed by all the products there hahah. make sure you check out my other 2 videos on Japan beauty picks at Cosme, and have a blastttt - fel x
if we are talking about Japanese beauty essential i would really REALLY like to recommend you the DHC beauty Tablets and I swear it might take some time but it does the job AND the Bulgarian rose tablets from DHC are TO DIE FOR like this thing kills body odour just finished two packs of it JESUS! IT'S SOOO AMAZING and my sister is on her 11th pack and girl smells like a whole rose garden YOU NEED TO TRY IT!!!
Cezanne Toner is so good. Cezanne highlighter is a must try! Canmake Quick Lash Curler, DOES NOT BUDGE. That’s why we need the Heroine make Masxara Remover.
These sorts of videos are one of my online happy places🥰🥰. I'm extremely interested in other people's loves, recommendations and wild enthusiasm in general, I love hearing intelligent shoppers talk about what they buy, love (or cannot honestly recommend, on the flipside). The first scalp cleansing shampoo was described perfectly by you. You pointed out a key benefit of using the product: that your main shampoo worked just as effectively even though you could actually use less of it, not even needing a second wash. This was a big ringing 'YOU NEED THIS-bell' for me, as I buy expensive haircare and use a great deal of styling products too which can cause product build up on the scalp and thus necessitates special diligent care to remove and ensure a healthy scalp. That shampoo was just one item that I immediately put on my list as all my Oribe hair care is too expensive to waste (although I highly recommend his fortifying serum as it smells divine and works beautifully). Thank you for this wonderfully entertaining, truly helpful upload.
thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! we all have a curiosity for what people are actually using right? hahha. and OOooooO i love oribe so will defins have to check out the serum you mentioned! but yes, sadly agree it's a bit pricey, so I tend to use it as slowly as possible, which kind of defeats the purpose sometimes hahahah - fel xx
Fel! Be careful with gel polish allergy 😭 it happened to me and after a long detox period, I still got the same allergic reaction even though I used different gel polish brands (I even bought new ones that were “safe” or “hema free”). I also tried getting them done professionally and I still reacted... I went down a research rabbit hole and the overall recommendation is to completely stop using gel polish 😭 otherwise it can worsen. This sucks!! I’m having a hard time accepting it but I’ve transitioned to using OPI nail strengthener only (which gives me a clean look and I don’t mind it when I have short nails) and my last resort for “fancier” occasions is press ons with nail glue/regular polish. :’)
omggg it happened to you too?! thanks so much for sharing this, I was honestly so confused why it happened because it never used to. Sad.. but yes i have only been using normal nail polish, and discovered some excellent brands from japan too hahahha. the nail adventure continues!!! - fel x
5:20 Ty for your honesty towards the Fino hair mask… In my country ppl are very into haircare (more than skincare), and all reviews for the Fino hair mask I found sounded a little bit starstruck (for, perhaps, not being used to intense hair care regimens). After your review, I’m definitely going to give a chance to the Tsubaki one first (maybe the Fino after, but just for the sake of curiosity)!!!
My hair definately loved tsubaki. I have used so many hair products and this is the one i Couldn't wait to re-buy. If you have low porosity hair, you might love this too.
it's so interesting how different everyone's hair is!! I didn't see any notable results with tsubaki hair mask but the fino hair mask had an immediate and dramatic difference for me!! I wonder what the exact reasons are...
it totally is interesting!! we all have different starting points, and journeys so it's totally normal that we're all different. So glad you found and liked the fino, they both smell DIVINE - felxx
I discovered the judydoll mascara as a primer for me to hold my lashes in shape. But you can remove this without a mascara remover. these are brilliant and absolutly essential with japanese mascara
Fel Fel Fel Fel!!!! Every since I watched that Japan exchange beauty product box with Ro, I have fallen in love with Curel products!!!!!! Been using the moisture milk and i am in love!!!!
Canni and born pretty have a hema and di-hema free line. I use them because i also developed allergies to gels. These gels even builder gels doesn’t break me out or cause issues. Try them 😊
Wow! You made me wanna buy all the stuff you bought 😅😅 But on a serious note, I have been a loyal Korean and French skincare user. However, with all the recent discoveries I have encountered regarding Japanese skincare, I am on the borderline of trying out everything JP! Their products sound amazing and high-quality. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those. Thank you as always Beauty Within Team!
Hi! Love your videos ❤ But I just wanted to leave here some constructive feedback (i hope is ok with you ☺️). For the hair part, please consider stopping the water while applying the products and talking to the camera. There is plenty of water scarcity around some countries that it felt kind of uncomfortable watching it. Take care!
Oof amazing I'll try do! ❤ If you don't mind me asking, do you have any particular favourites? And if they contain alcohol/alcohol denat, did you notice any drying effects? (i've been pretty ocd about avoiding it, but am slowly learning that maybe it just depends on the overall formulation 🤧)
omggg you went!! Im so glad you enjoyed it, isn't it the most relaxing experience EVER! hahah and your hair is so happy and bounhing and shiny afterwards! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip in Japannnnn, I already need to go back haha - fel x
for the irritation of your fingers, this could be an allergie against plastic softerners. my mum developed this during her working life as she had to work with liquid plastics constantly (dentist) and her hands looked exactly like yours. And gel nails are nothing other than a fluid polymer aka plastic. it has softeners in. Get testet to know because there are more softeners out there than you know.
oh woooww that's lit! If it helps, you can also order from Yesstyle, which is where I get a lot of the korean and jpapanese products. But it can take a while to ship, but they have a lot of options! hehe - fel x
I've tried both the fino and tsubaki hairmask, and for me they've both worked great. For my hair, neither was better than the other, but I've heard some people say that it depends on your hair porosity 🤔
Great info, I'm going to try that hair mask once my Fino is used up. Btw, what brand and shade of nail polish are you wearing in this video? It's pretty 😍
Hi. I have high hopes on the Lion pair cleanser since I can no longer be pried from the Lion pair cream... I hope it cleanses well and helps my dry flaky skin without the dryness. As for the Kaminomoto scalp tonic, the gold one was bought around 5 bottles but I suppose my hair loss is due to nutrition not able to stay in the skin due to eczema as well. The mint sensation does help with the irritated scalp...
I bought like 5 of those deodorants but they dont do anything for me :( idk if you need to activate them or what. I pass it like 7 teams on each armpit and nothing 😭
I just want to also leave some constructive feedback here about the waterproof mascara remover. Honestly, I’m going to yell this from the mountain tops forever… It Is a prestige American product, but if you would just wash with Purity Made Simple Cleanser by Philosophy, it does remove waterproof mascara and makeup without stinging the eyes. It has some oils in it, like Meadowfoam oil. I’ve been using this for about 30 years now, ever since they brought this to QVC. They still sell Philosophy on there. I recommend looking for their videos on this cleanser for product Info & demos. ❤
omg yesss, I recently discovered lamellar water last year, and haven't stopped using it since! they're a bit different bceause the lamellar water I use (8 second wonder water) goes onto the hair after shampoo and before conditioner. And it gives the softest feeling to the hair, it's quite insane hehe - fel x

0:37 I've been looking for something like this for my scalp! I've only tried the Predia mask because I saw it at Cosme. Does it work better? Excellent video as always!
ooo i picked up the Predia in Japan at cosme as well! so they're quite different, this one is a pre-cleanse which has a watery texture. the Predia one from memory is like a mud, so you use them differently too. would highly recommend this one to try :) - fel x
Good question! I have super porous hair, because everything I put on just sinks into it like I didn't apply anything, so i need quite nourishing ingredients. Also because my hair is SUPER damaged, from constant styling, coloring and perm! it used to be healthier haha - fel x
They use different ingredients, and the strenth is also somewhat different. The floral is more user friendly in terms of scent, and the gold is quite medicinal haha - fel x
