6-year-old boy speaks clearly for first time after dentist discovers he's tongue-tied

The parents of Mason Motz thought their son had trouble communicating because of a developmental disorder. It turns out he was tongue-tied.

If this kid actually had cavities (and this wasn't just a journalist embellishing the story, there is still room for improvement, but that dentist did something multiple doctors failed to do and that is properly examine the kid. When someone has speech issues, you should always check their mouth and throat for obvious problems.
