So grateful for the people who made this show possible and to the person who uploaded it on YT Music. 🙏❤️😊 Real proud to be born in 1970, that was why so many of my earliest childhood memories were the music and the voices of the artists of the early 70's. 😅
Took some courage to include "Unborn Child" on that setlist. But everyone knew it came from a genuine sincerity of heart. I always felt like they weren't "preaching" in that song, but just imploring women to stop and really think about what they were doing before taking an action that can never be undone. But independently of all that, Seals & Crofts were uniquely good artists!

Thank you William, I agree; Jack Lenz, who played piano at this concert, talked about this subject in a BBC interview: ua-cam.com/video/RWtq1LhlTcc/v-deo.html
I remember those days as if they were yesterday and now 50 years later. My last year in college 1974, the energy crisis, Nixon resigning late summer, halter tops and concerts, apartment life in California, the good old days.
I was introduced to their music at 14 by my 13 year old sister. I was hooked. The first time I saw them Live was 1977. I got to see them 3 or 4 times live before they elected to stop touring.

The bassist is not Bobby, but Mike Porcaro; lead guitar Ovid Stevens (not Louie)

Thank you Linda, after checking again.. I stand corrected😉 Actually it was Toto-bass player Mike Porcaro himself, who posted the following in a video comment (before he passed away March 15, 2015) : "That's me Mike Porcaro on bass, Jim Varley on drums, Jack Lenz on piano, Ovid Stevens on guitar. Antoine Dearbourne on congas. The horn section is left to right: Rod King trumpet, Larry Ford trumpet, Bob Crosby saxophone, I'm sorry I do not recall who was playing the trombone much to my embarrassment. Hopefully, one of the other guys in the band will eventually see these videos and name the trombonist. I was 19 when I preformed this concert." ua-cam.com/video/14d7rbYDkRM/v-deo.html PS The name of the trombonist is John Leys 😊

Just checked it out. Excellent clip!
This was better than Woodstock because of Seals & Crofts. So much progressive, very talented artists with a huge heart and true sensibility!
Leaving aside the staggering musicianship for a moment, man, could these guys sing!

I WAS ONLY 4 YEARS OLD BUT I SURE DO REMEMBER THESE GUYS MUSIC, THNKS FOR SHARING THIS!
You are very welcome ! Thank you for your reply
Same! My parents loved S&C. So sad that you don’t hear anything so creative and original anymore. The 1970’s music was no doubt the best!
They’re steely Dan level harmony and melody
More Everly Bros., Simon and Garfunkel,CSN, but yes.
