I wasn’t expecting scepter buffs, but I’ll take it. Tempest finally gets more cc on staff, so that’s nice. Fury on air overload feels like it should’ve been there already.
I wish GW2 would post more of their content on their youtube channel... contrary to the hardcore gamer bubble, not everyone who games uses twitch, infact most dont. UA-cam would reach a farm broarder audience and they hardly post anything on their channel. It always feels like poor marketing is what really holds GW2 back from being more popular most of the time.
100% this, even as someone who has played the game fairly hardcore for most of the game's life I hate watching anything on twitch. I just end up waiting for someone like Mukluk to do an overview
I'm not sure what they're talking about when they said ranger shortbow isn't used much in competitive game modes. Shortbow/staff druid is already cracked in wvw.
It's been ages that I was actually eager to see a patch coming regarding my elem. There's some interesting stuff, things I want to test for maybe 4 of the 5 elem build I currently have.
As someone who spent a considerable amount of time as an engi main and didn't really care for elixrs. I would consider X a lot more if the amount of things you could turn into was like 10+ long. Just have us turn into wacky shit. Let us turn into a giant skritt using a statue of zommorros as a club, make it happen. Also, cheers to consistently making holo not fun to play despite being the coolest elite spec for engi. I was also already gimping myself by running sword on weaver instead of scepter. That gimping is even worse now.
I always thought the game as a whole needed a 20% speed boost. That's walk speed perk and alacrity as base kit. Seeing a bit of that with the cooldown reduction across the board.
Looking at the comments here sincerely talking about how these guys talk unnaturally fast, I am just in awe. I'm truly in the presence of mental giants here.
Really wish for Harbinger, that they'd get rid of having to stand in the impact zone of your skills to get the blight buff effect. It's a horrible design and a nightmare if you use the action camera. Basically, forces you to always be in melee range no matter what weapon you use.
i played ele hardcore at launch and recently came back after 10+ year break. back then ele was super powerful at the cost of really low hp. now it seems everything does the same amount of damage but ele hp pool still sucks. is it wrong to think they should just bump up the hp pool, why is it still so low
My biggest issue is how short the window is of getting into it, it disappears much earlier than mesmer's portal, which makes it much more annoying for portalling others, have to call out the portal and wait before placing it or else people won't see it in time
Being a pessimist I figured they'd muck up the builds with this patch. But I'm glad to see I was wrong. I like the changes & look forward playing my Tempest - Enjoy the videos. Keep them coming.
Can we put Cal and Roy on 0.75 speed when they talk? How are we supposed to follow what these guys are trying to say? "It's like they're trying to speak to me! I know it!" Muk is fine. Talk like him.
mirage not out of controle? it is preforming worse than chorno boon support, as a full damage spec. what do you mean, not out of controle, it is heavly under preforming. and if they are so afraid of condi mirage, why not buff power mirage, make mirage the power spec of mesmer, chrono the support spec, and virtuosu the condi spec.
Today was asked to change from unti to sth else (on Deimos) because of the fart cloud (and "some gamers may not see the oil....m'kay)... Only to have halac mech and some specter throw their pools left and right.... Was very frustrating, unt f3 is not such a big deal....
Why do they keep Druid with basically 0 stability? Druid can just get CC locked in PvP and WvW even with 3 breakers you have no option. Super stranger they took stability away from pet swap completely. Why such terrible PvP changes?
Aye, my bad. I thought they were talking too slow so I was watching at 25% increased speed. Multiple people have commented on it so I know not to do that in the future.

They actually don't seem to fully understand the skills the same as you do Mukluk, they fail to give examples etc... Mind that gives you a great chance to enlighten us thank you.
I know Muk never played ele much at all but staff used to be MUCH better than todays, they nerfed the crud out of it because raids. That and nerfed fire traits so that its not useful to really be in fire for any length of time. Scepter has always been...odd. Technically useable but consistently weird.
Was really hoping to see more pvp / wvw related updates within the classes; i have no issues in pve with any class. But yet in wvw/pvp there is a definite massive divide of efficiency between classes. yet the only ones to see any love in that direction are the ones already fairing very well that also need a mob to put down. very nice. They need drop the class favoritism and do some actual balancing. o7
Harbinger needed nerfs in wvw - and gets buffs. Wilbender needed to be beaten to a bloody pulp by the nerfhammer - and nothing. Obviously, the balance team has no clue about wvw. Or does not care if their pet classes overperform. Signet of Humility: this was an issue for ages. But rumours say that this was only changed, because a gvg com who is close to anet complained about it.
Here's the truth about WvW balancing: The current balance team considers roaming and fights between 2-6 people irrelevant. The only correct way to play WvW is zerging and the only correct way to do that is boonball. Look at their balancing through this lense and the changes make sense.
year and a half ago they were concetrating every patch around wvw and efdd scrapper to oblivion nit being fun anymore. now these ppl are new hires and have no clue what the previous people did. so gw2 is becoming more annoying and unfun. almost already stopped playing.
I appreciate all the balance work, but wish they would finally do something with the elite slot for builds that just don't have an appealing choice. (Maybe an unpopular opinion? IDK) Maybe add 1 more core elite skill or give the option to just slot a utility skill into the elite slot. Unforseen balance issues with the latter option, I'm sure...
I've been a (primarily) ranger player for years and I literally completely forgot rangers have access to torch... Also yeah longbow is good in open world and PvP so I don't know what they're doing... xP

@@MuklukUA-camI mean Roy. Either you sped this video up or this man was real nervous before the stream and needed a “pick me up”. Coffee, Sugar, Cocaine…. Maybe a combo or 2 or all 3… idk. But my man was spring through EVERYTHING 😅
A bit belated, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Inspiring Whirl change for warrior specifically. I prefer Heal Alac Bladesworn, but the loss of regeneration on staff makes it so you *have* to take Banner of Defense for regen, which is kind of a huge bummer. Berzerker can easily upkeep it with warhorn, which bladesworn doesn't have access too, lol, because we need staff, obvs. I can't imagine why they'd move the regen for a straight heal?
Direct healing is just more consistently useful, especially since you’ll be auto attacking a decent amount with staff, you’ll get more healing overall instead of just stacking duration of a somewhat weak regen. Warrior also doesn’t have any traits that add any benefits to applying regen like Rev, Engi, or Ranger. This will help with those low health or scramble situations especially I think where the extra direct healing on top of other staff skills will ensure that everybody is topped off quicker. Plus with the banner castspeed changes I don’t think it will be as bad of an option (It’s no tactics banner but it’ll let you cast it more reactively)
@@addamhall8214that’s all very true! I think you’re right it’ll be overall better I just dislike having my utilities locked, lol, especially since Warrior has so many great options. So even if it were overall better for healing, I’d still rather the regen if only so I don’t have to either take the banner or deal with people complaining I don’t have it. The easiest fix would just be giving bladesworn a weapon swap but that isn’t happening, alas.
@@megcarlton9794 honestly I’d like if they gave normal burst to bladesworn when out of gunsaber but make it cost some of your flow (maybe 3 bullets for a level 1 burst). If it were like that, we’d gain a ton of useful cc bursts and we’d still keep regen from staff burst or something haha
@@addamhall8214 oh shit that would be cool! I love that fix, honestly. The CC and regen would be fabulous. And that’s only adding a single skill and not five, like a weapon swap would. Well, it’s fun to wish for, though I doubt they’d add it. Maybe if I’m very patient…lol

It's funny you say this when kitless holo build will still be the best one (44k dps) and grenade kit build will be around 43k.
