I'm a 72 year old American and with all the turmoil here I really needed this beautiful nature respite. Thanks to you and your wonderful wife for these incredibly peaceful and introspective videos. They really do help.
Maxim, thank you again; I was missing my favorite nature videographer and naturist, so I watched this video again. I saw more the second time and appreciate your presentation even more. Loved all the nature but especially the blueberry pie and ice cream; blessings on you both!
Another great video man. Love the dynamic between the two of you, the wildlife photography and the observations about your environment. I'm a chef and that pie was commendable!
This was great. Thanks for sharing. I watch you, the Baird brothers, & Jon Kelly, in the rapids. Y'all are intensely hard-core awesome. Then, to see you with your wives and families, you're the most gentle young men. You young men are the real ones. Xander is intriguing to watch. He's like a super ball in a phone booth when he's joking about. When he gets in the think of things, he's Lazer focused. Hats off to you all. You're remarkable. P.S. Happy belated birthday to Thais.
Another great video Maxim. I leave Saturday for a 6 day trip with my daughter. She’s 30 now but still enjoys roughing it with her old dad. Time in nature with a loved one is time well spent. Cheers.
The immersive experience of watching your videos is the closest thing to being there Max. Its always interesting to see the Canadian wildflowers and birds. Great to see you both enjoying yourselves so much
i swear yall created peace and tranquility. no rush. no stress. so chill. its really dope how yall approach these trips, one day at a time and vibe city. always incredible. cant believe this channel does not have a zillion followers. much love - Fartz
Love, love, love your videos Maxim. Not only the attention to beautiful views but also the minutia of the experience. So artful and peaceful. Happy birthday to Thais…a beautiful way to experience it❤
Thank you for your great videography, capturing nature the way you do. I am never disappointed, you two are naturals! I await your next journey into calmness and beauty! Blessings
🫐BLUEBERRIES 🫐 😋 Great trip, wonderful delicious pie, thanks for bringing us along! At 39:19 I’ve never seen the glacial evidence like that. Smooth rounded “trough”… very interesting! And FISH 🎣 Bass, how fun! A suggestion for landing, always have a length of line as long as the rod. 6’ rod =6’ line, that will let you have a hand on handle to guide fish, other hand on net. You will land more fish, easier. 😀 Happy belated birthday 🎉
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, THAIS!!! Spectacular photography again, Max. I will surely watch this one many times to sooth my soul from all the craziness down here. Thank you for the ethereal escape.
Lovely video. Brings a warm sense of peace to the viewer: rebirth of the forest and all its critters, and two lovely people paddling its waters. thanks for sharing this with us! And cedar waxwings! with that spot of yellow at the end of their tails!
Great video max that blueberry pie looked real tasty happy birthday to your wife I think she done awesome in the canoe and rally good at the fishing also lovely place and peaceful take care to you both and wish you both the best 👍👌🚣🏻🚣🏻❤️🎂🎂🎉🎉
First time viewer . Was blown away by the photography, the sound quality, and the beautiful relationship you have as a couple. I hit the like and subscribe.
As usual a great video. Really enjoyed seeing the both of you together. I’m seeing places that I’ll never experience thanks to you. I especially enjoy the narration. What a great birthday for her. Thank you for sharing. Great first time canoeing! Looking forward to seeing her skills evolve as she goes on more trips with her husband/mentor 👍. That blueberry pie looked delicious 😋.
Beautiful shots Max what a talent you are to capture such beauty in the wild. Of course love the shots of the birds as I paint birds but have taken to painting flowers using some of your shots as inspiration thank you. Such peaceful footage❤
Hey Max. Superb cinematography, such a natural eye for nature and all things beautiful, your wife is mad and I get more stress relief watching your videos than a 3 hour counselling session ! Massive respect and Big love from London
The sound and photography are perfect. Love when you add names of plants and animals, fish, etc. Your and Taiese’ (sp?) voices are easy to listen to. Videos where you stay in one or two places are nice because they offer a more complete view of an area. You let the camera linger on a scene a good long time. I rarely want to pause your videos. It’s nice not to have to stop the flow. Thank you! Subscribed and liked.
Here to watch enjoy another video, and commenting to help with algorithm : ) That fish fry looks amazing plus the blueberry pies made from lard just made me hungry! Also, congrats on 20K subscribers!!
I come here and find tranquility! But before this I watched Xanders video where it starts off with him apologizing to his Canoe like its his gf lol! Happy Birthday to your beautiful wife Max, but I was waiting for the part where she emerges form the fire like the thumbnail. 🤔😋
Surprised to see a rattler that far north. He must be a hardy bugger. So pleased for you that your wife enjoys the outdoors. Happy Birthday Thai, can’t wait for the next video you and Max are in.❤
This video is amazing. All you need is everything you have right there in front of you. Great video, as always. Happy birthday, Thais! Wish these videos would come more often. You guys are a beautiful couple.
Liked all the closeups. You picked a beautiful time to go. The similar coloration of water snake and rattler would have me jumping all the time. As always I enjoy your two perspectives and how you interact with wilderness
Great video Max! So calming and, welcome break from the news of the day here on the other side of Huron. It's really nice to see the regeneration post burn. Happy birthday, Thais!
Beautiful trip, the filming of all the details is magical, I felt a sense of calm watching it. Happy Birthday Thais, honestly wouldn't have guessed it was your first time paddling.
Happy Belated Birthday to Thais! I like watching her fish, cook, and gather blueberries! Like wow, so much blueberries! Her shirt match as well 😂. As always, great captures. Love the colorful flowers, birds and insects. Amazing how nature rebuilds itself after a wildfire.
Thanks so much Maxim for another great video with such wonderful photography. So great to see Thais enjoy fishing and picking blueberries so much. My wife and I enjoy wild blueberries too (we usually buy two 11 quart baskets of Lac St Jean blueberries every August).
The mosquitoes ahhh. The paddling is serene, doesn't look too hard.ya letting her wake up drink coffee probably the best . The scenery is great, what a fine video.
To the contrary, I don’t know two souls who are more pure despite the double blades. As a New Englander who grew up in Texas and the Southern California desert, I find all these snakes that you guys have up there incredible! Is the water snake venomous? I would have been poopin a lot if I ate all those blueberries😂. Great vid Maxim!! Great to see you two enjoying nature together! Peace. NQU
Mega laid back Video. I enjoyed it a ton. You and Thais are a great match. Good on both of you. Fresh picked blueberries are 10 times better than store bought HAPPY BIRTHDAY THAIS. Faustian Bargain ...... I had to look that up. I like your wit.
The bitey rice is out again down by the water! Mosquitoes so thick you can feel them with your hand, aka Bitey Rice. 😆 Maybe the best part about blueberries is how they can make porridge into something good! It's almost time for my annual harvest. You should try the apples from our tree, they're so strong in flavour almost like cider.
@@deekelley891 Ashed probably help but it can also be less competition from other plants for water and light after a fire. Since blueberry plants grow quick they grow ahead of other plants for a few years after a fire.
@@deekelley891 Re ashes, it makes sense. Blueberries like acidic soil and I guess the soil get more acidic after a forest fire from evergreen trees. Then more access to light and water help too.
Great trip! @KevinOutdoors also did a burn site video recently. So important to understand that burns are sort of sad, but they are also part of nature's bigger plan. Also, Thais is such a treat - but you obviously knew that. :) 38:56 - Hooray for the future!
Man man man awesome as always. The photography was on point. Happy birthday Thais glad to see y’all out. The blue berries looked so sweet and it wasn’t fare to show that blue berry pie lol I could almost taste how good it was. Max watch out for snake my man. Looking forward to your next one and as always safe travels my friend from the Deep South of Louisiana PS looks like there was only one that caught fish for consumption lol just saying
Happy Birthday Thais sp? 😳 🫐🫐🫐🫐🫐🫐 Birthday weekend celebrated in style! Blueberry heaven, yummy fish, ok not so much a fan of snakes….Need some of that future blueberry pie 😋 Cedar waxwings calls are glorious! Wonderful solo paddling and ok the double, blade conundrum is understandable BUT it sure makes a difference Max. Thanks as always for transporting me and sharing your exquisite work & travels 💕 Rock on you two!
Happy Birthday Tiesha. A great treat to come along on your birthday weekend. I am really taken by your underwater photography, it is the best I have seen in podcasts on UA-cam.
wonderful adventure. I think the burned-out rockscape with narrow waterway paddling is a treat. Wondering if you can identify from the sound a forrest dweller at about the 19:50 mark. kind of the repeating 'honk'? I have heard this call in the Calif. Sierra foot-mountains.
Hey Max how are you doing? As always another great video and the beauty and wonder of your eye for nature. I can relax and enjoy your video and after take a nice relaxing nap! Till your next video have a great one and I'll see you then.
Really enjoyed the video, Thanx much. The Future Blueberry pie was very good! I'm buying Bluets here in Calif. definitely pricey but worth it, foraging/harvesting would be a delight
Wow rattle snake!! Living in Ireland we don't have snakes so I would not have any idea how to cope with those. Do you make a lot of noise to just scare them away, or avoid the areas most likely to have them. It was funny to hear you talk about it and then a few shots later see Thais laying on the ground picking berries.
I'm a 72 year old American and with all the turmoil here I really needed this beautiful nature respite. Thanks to you and your wonderful wife for these incredibly peaceful and introspective videos. They really do help.
Our pleasure!
Blueberry Queen 👸That pie looked incredible.
Maxim, thank you again; I was missing my favorite nature videographer and naturist, so I watched this video again. I saw more the second time and appreciate your presentation even more. Loved all the nature but especially the blueberry pie and ice cream; blessings on you both!
Thanks Nicholas! As always I really appreciate the support man! I hope you are enjoying the last days of summer.
Another great video man. Love the dynamic between the two of you, the wildlife photography and the observations about your environment. I'm a chef and that pie was commendable!
Thanks!
What an awesome way to spend a birthday weekend. What incredible footage. And that pie, it looked amazing. So many blueberries to pick.
Thanks so much!
I love the sound of the sparrows
Thank you! ❤
They were very active. You are welcome!

Just beautiful. Thankyou for sharing the tranquility. Greetings from Aus 💚
Blueberry pie is my fave and that one looked incredible. Great video!

I agree!
So happy to see your video….happy belated birthday Thais! Fantastic video Max…..they are getting better and better….love ❤them!
Wow. Nature's ability to recover is amazing.

Awesome pirate hat at 26:11 😂
Beautiful scenery, nothing better than spending time with your love… enjoyed very much..
I am really glad you enjoyed Herb!
Another enjoyable trip. Happy Birthday Thais!! Max too much info at the end of video. I thought you carried Thais's canoe because of her birthday. lol
Good eye-well done. It amazes me, and I'll never figure out how the bugs know when it's 9:15!!!😜
That was indeed magical! No lack of fresh blueberries and fish! Post script: relationship goals!
Beautiful, beautiful Georgian Bay! It's on my paddling list!
You should!

Magical
Love your perspective about the burns. I backpack most weekends, often in burn areas. You have to appreciate the land we have for what it is.
I agree Andrew, thanks for watching!
Beautiful

Blueberries often propagate and thrive a few years after a forest fire.
Always love the contemplation and serenity of your videos.
Hummmm. Wonder if it’s the ash added to the soil. My son’s blueberries are struggling a bit-might try a bit of ash as a supplement to the soil…
