I'm very torn between an older A7iii or a used Nikon Z5. Currently using Nikon dSLR but most of my lenses won't AF using the Nikon adapter so it's only the familiar ergonomics that would push me towards the Z5. But the vast lens ecosystem pushes me towards the Sony. I guess I need to try and handle an A7iii! Video isn't a particular concern for me.
I think the move you make will impact the long term type of content that you will be shooting , I moved to Sony knowing that at the long play the ecosystem will benefit me
Yep, I bought my a7iii when it first released.. Used it for everything until I upgraded.. Kept the a7 iii just for Photography reasons but still use it as a b-cam for video.. If you're on a budget this is the best bang for the bucks camera in 2024.
I believe so man I mean it really al depends what you are shooting, if most of your content is 24 FPS in 4K and you expose your image correctly I believe it works , cameras are just tools a that help you to do the job easier , I have seen crews that shoot in old cameras more a specific look , that’s what I mean on it all depends what you shoot
