And this is precisely why reactors need more love. Without your channel I would not have heard of them. This track was pretty damned good. Not a shot at the band, more of a acceptance that we do not get pushed any new rock or metal in my neck of the woods (ATL) so they are now a part of my Spotify playlist. Time to dive into their catalog. Love and respect.
That WAS sick! Both of their vocalists reminded me of Tatiana from Jinjer, and the rap parts reminded me of Bloodywood. But you’re right, for an independent artist, the quality was top notch! Definitely going on my playlists.

The drumming on this was sick. That bit right before the final chorus, where they dropped back in, adding what sounded like extra reverb on those toms...... *chefs kiss*

As somebody who was born in '96 I really wish I grew up in the 90's. I mean the nu-metal revival we're experiencing today is amazing, but this type of music is my shit and I wish I could have been into it when it was new
I grew up in the nu-metal era and there are several things that augmented it that will never happen today - mostly the scarcity of the Internet where not only fighting for crumbs of information just added to the mystery, but that getting ahold of the music was just out of your reach (if you couldn't afford the CD, bands would sometimes post 10 second samples of songs cos they couldn't handle larger files en masse, and Napster was still Wild West, especially for dialup modems).
That era in general was different, the graphics design, the fashion, the Flash games, it was colorful, it was burgeoning, it was naive, everyone was just giving everything they got, taking influences from everywhere they could find... It's a scared, anxious, jaded society now. I don't think socially we're capable of something like that anymore.
(I have a lot more thoughts but I'm not particularly eloquent about this, sorry.)

Goodness, just when I was losing faith in the return of the "NU Metal" sound and vibe. Very refreshing! Tetrarch seems to have slipped away and something is keeping Chaoseum from touring the South but still delivers new tracks. You have succeeded once again in keeping my love for music alive. Absolutely love Sicksense! This band is so good. They need to be on a major that doesn’t use and abuse them but understands them but maybe not on a metal label where they get lost in the pack. Tricky one and I wish nothing but love for these guys. I call dibs on the deli bear costume for UK dates 😜

I hear Jinjer big time. Tati sound big time. Eugene all over that bass. A little Bloodywood sound during the rap parts. None of it sounds like a bad copy though. Just clear influences.
Both incredible bands, for sure! We're all in the same age group, so we aren't influenced by them. However, we all most likely share a lot of the same influences from 90's/early 2000's music 🐻

Very cool song and I've already heard of them. That guitar riff reminds me of 12 foot Ninja "one hand killing" and the vocals remind me of Lacuna Coil. Great mixture!
