I loved using Bain de Solei suntan oil. I think it gave the prettiest color tan. Back when I first started using it we thought we were really doing something good because it had an spf of 4 or 6! That was before we really knew about sun damage to our skin and sun protection. The sun, beach and ocean has added such joy to my life ❤.

I was shocked when you said you were getting your roots done, forgive me but I think your hair is showing the effects of being colored too often. Try waiting it out a week or two longer between touch ups and only color the roots. I truly believe that will make a difference. Coming from a woman of a certain age with pale blonde waist length hair.

Lisa! I had a similar experience with my hair, although it wasn’t as lovely as yours to start with. I had to grow the color AND extreme layering out. It took a year. I quit heat except for on very special occasions, and learned tricks on how to define my very strong waves (almost curly) instead of my usual blow dry and iron. You love to experiment and you would enjoy the processes and products to bring out those natural waves of yours! Waves need moisture and there are specific methods to washing, conditioning, and applying products to get that moisture in (mainly slushing water and scrunching in). There is the bucket/bowl method, scrunching in shower method, t-shirt drying method…there are many many tutorials and fun ways to get that moisture in which will make your curls pop! You will just love learning how and seeing how curly your hair actually is. It will get you through your grow out and curls “blend” roots to boot 🌈

Lisa please look into Epres for your hair. It is a bond repaire pre- shampoo treatment. It is made by the guy who invented olaplex. It has totally changed my hair. Every day I am amazed at the shine, softness and it is so easy to use!

I have lost over 1/2 my hair in the past year following a surgery and I have the same problem with the new hair growing in but boy do I hope I’ll get the thickness back. Now when I pull my hair in a pony I look like a hoot owl with the new growth sticking out on each side by my temples. 😂😂😂

I have both the Sonia G and Wayne Goss brushes along with the the Yano series brush and they are so worth the money. Ive had mine for years and they never loose hair or dry out and the makeup applications go on beautiful.
The hair scent mists usually have alcohol in them, so you may want to avoid using it on your hair. Also, the best hair oil is 100% sweet almond oil, it really is transformative! 🌺

I can so relate to your comment about feeling like yourself coming alive with Spring. I was born and raised in Southern California and livef at the beach for years. I lived in warmth and sunshine and really didn't experience Winter. I live in a part of the country now where I do experience cold and low sun during those months. I do not do well during those months and have had more energy, activity and joy as we've gotten nearer to Spring. I think some of us are more solar powered ❤. I really enjoy your videos.

I had that kind of shed with Covid a few years ago and my goodness it was awful… and with my curlier texture it really looked like swamp moss coming back in … but what helped that was the color wow frizz treatment ( I only did at root ) then had to smooth a little with a little heat. I do agree that it was probably an immune response to your vaccine. I also used the amika 3D thickening treatment at root to help it grow back a little quicker . Glad you are feeling better 😊

Hi Lisa. I had LOT of hair loss after I contracted COVID. My PCP mentioned that a side-effect of having COVID. I now have all that hair growing again, and like you when I dry it they all stick out lol however am greatful the hair loss was not permanent. Hang tight you'll have your healthy hair back just be patient. Hugs ❤

I also used a product by Banana Boat called Tan Amplifier with carrot oil w/ no sunscreen.

I have tried several times to get those clips from Dyson and they are always sold out. Drives me crazy. A lot of companies are having sales. Not sure it is still going on but Fenty had 30% off so I got backups of that foundation tint - love that stuff. Also got the Tokyo color and clear at City Lips. I need to get the heat protectant from Oribe soon. I still have some of their others so need to finish them up. Love the video as always.

I’ve gotten worried lately because my lashes use to be long. Well, I started this well known product to make them longer. My lashes are getting stubby ~ 😳 I have read so many reviews and this product gets mostly all great ones~ I did stop the product but, I can’t even get my best mascara to even lengthen them & I am so sick about it ~ I’m thinking of going back to my Latisse~ I don’t know what’s going on but, it bothers me so much ~ have you heard any good stuff about Obagi lash serum? I have used Obagi for about 14 years now & I sware by their skincare ~ so, thought I’d try their lash serum. Apparently it’s either not working for me? Or something else is going on with my lashes? 😢
