Both front door panels on mine are cracked, as well as the handle trim piece. This video gives me confidence to replace them myself, looks like a straight forward job.
Thanks again for another very helpful video. By the way have you ever done a video on how to replace the door actuator on this specific car? Thanks again for all your time and effort
Thank you so much for this great video! You are very clear on what to do and highlight each so it is very easy to follow. Many thanks for your much appreciated efforts for us all. Now I know I can replace the master power switch on my FIT myself! Good show!!!
Thanks for this. I just did this on a Matrix to replace the mirror and was wondering how it is done on my Fit. It was similar and easy on the Toyota as the handle and lock stay with the door. It was hard to get the panel back on though. It is helpful to see videos like this to prevent breaking fragile plastic parts.
I had to replace my passenger door window after some degenerate smashed it; this made getting the panel off a breeze instead of a headache trying to figure out which direction to pull this or that without breaking it. Thank you!
Thank you! This was very helpful; I have a 2012 Fit also. The rear doors come off almost exactly the same way, except there are two gray screws behind the armrest panel instead of one.
Thank you Miguel! Your video gave me the confidence to replace my own drivers side window! Definitely took a bit (the grey electrical clip on my car was pretty stuck in) but the rest was a breeze thanks to your tutorial 😁
So the short story... I use that little side pocket as an ashtray.... I don't think it takes a lot of imagination to figure out what happened from there. Thanks Man. I owe you a beer.
Hey Thank you for doing this video. Can we get rid off that Black cloth on the panel (I've beige one and gets dirty) to rexine to make the cleaning easy?
A good clear instruction video. The fabric covered panels on my City 2000 door panels have disintegrated and the fabric is hanging off. How do I remove these panels from the door panels to recover them?
Hi thinking about doing some sound deadening in my fit. I saw that there's some white foam on the inside of the door panel. What is that? or what would you recommend?
DIY: Car Modz thanks for the quick response as always. Is that OEM? I'm trying to replace my girlfriend's. I guess I can just reupholster her current one.
I seem to be in the minority, but this did not go well for me. My door panel did not come off easily. Only 2 of the clips came off with it, and the other 8? 10? stayed in the door. There was no way to get them out without ruining them. I had to take it to Honda and they charged me $160 to put it back on. I had removed it to see if a speaker wire was loose. There was nothing behind the door, so the entire exercise was useless and cost me $160 plus my day driving to the dealership. ☹️ If the panel doesn't come off easily, you might want to stop there.
Hey, I know your video is 7 years old bit I just followed your instructions today on a 2007 Fit.
Perfect, easy.
Thanks much
Great video! You did not block what you were doing and fast forwarded when needed!

HUGE thanks. I simply have a rattle coming from the speaker area and your video has shown me how to get that darned panel off. THANK YOU again.
Worked perfectly on my 2010 Fit, I’ll check out other videos of yours when I need to do more fixes.
Thanks again for another very helpful video.

Right to the point !! Excellent directions. Didn’t break any clips. Thanks
Great video; Word to the wise - this is for an older (pre-2016) body style.
Called the GE8 (2nd Generation) Honda Fit/Jazz. 2009-2013 in the US market.

That sucks. People need to respect other peoples property. Glad the video was helpful though.
Would I need to remove the door panel in order to remove the window switches?
same here! urghhh

How do you get that switch out I've got that cover off and one screw out I'm guessing I have to take the whole door panel off at this point
Super very useful vedio ❤
Any re-upholstery videos? Interior faded and thinking about customizing... everything.
Hey Thank you for doing this video. Can we get rid off that Black cloth on the panel (I've beige one and gets dirty) to rexine to make the cleaning easy?
Great video. Can you do one for the rear door. There's none on UA-cam.
Yes, I will make one soon.

Great video! Thanks for putting it out there.
Hi, possible to have a video to show how to remove the front wheel arch?
+SS FONG The inner fender liner right?
Thanks. This video make it super easy to get the panel off so I could clean up the maple syrup that our child somehow spilled inside the door.
Nicely done!

Hi thinking about doing some sound deadening in my fit. I saw that there's some white foam on the inside of the door panel. What is that? or what would you recommend?
That's there from the factory.
This was really helpful. Thanks a lot.
Very clear explanation
very useful to me !!!! thank you a million!!
Someone put their elbow through the arm rest so this video is very helpful for me. Gotta do some plastic welding.
Thank you my man
Hey! I know this is an old video of yours, but I was wondering where you got that carbon fiber piece for the door. Thanks!
Its not carbon fiber. That is just the cloth interior.
DIY: Car Modz thanks for the quick response as always. Is that OEM? I'm trying to replace my girlfriend's. I guess I can just reupholster her current one.

ua-cam.com/video/C611q5wxfDc/v-deo.html
The back door is the same?
