This is unrelated, but I need to find a way to watch a number go up that isn’t gambling, so: if I made a documentary about what I keep in my head about my life, but don’t advertise it as a documentary until it comes out on like Netflix or something and they put it in the “documentary” section (they still do that right?), if it got any traction at all, I’d imagine there would be one of those “problems with autistic representation in media” and then it would be edited out because they can no longer say “no you’re wrong that’s not what autism is”. And another thing, why can’t we leave the funny stuff alone? I’m autistic, and I admit I’ve never watched the good doctor, but I still find it cool that a tv show promotes the spongy brains, like myself, to be in that type of scenario, and saying we could do good.
