So after countless requests I have eventually made it down to Croydon Police Station, and all I can say is that there are serious issues at this police station.
Sir Mark Rowley will not be impressed with his officers clearly disobeying direct orders.

A guy rang LBC yesterday. His take on the Met was that it is no longer a police service but a brotherhood. He was reacting to a story about yet another serial offender in their midst having been finally exposed. His point was that this rapist had commited infractions for many years but they had been deliberately ignored. He was right. They have a dangerous blind spot regarding their own conduct and the conduct of their colleagues. This video demonstrates this mindset clearly. This seperate flag matter clearly shows that they are pperating under a different set of rules to the rest of us. Plus spitting in the eye of their boss and by extension us. Well done to this auditor and Yeardley Ski too.

You can make a complaint, but we will make it as HARD and complicated as possible.
The MET needs to be shut down and rebuilt from the bottom up.
They need to reinstate fitness,intelligence and all other laws which used to be used to get the best people into the force.

Thanks for this mate👍 I have aspergers and terrible anxiety issues , I have real trouble using a phone, opening mail (letters) and opening emails, makes me feel sick and overwhelmed and I go into a panic. Thanks for sticking up for our rights ,public servants should serve the public 👍 if they can be butthurt and offended when we say to them "you look like my nana" then I expected my autism to be treated with the highest respect just like a sexuality preference, race or religion. Not laughed at and called a weirdo like the police regularly do to us.
My son has Asperger’s and finds people are very ignorant of the issues. They saw”that doesn’t matter”. He says “it does to me”!!

Absolutely excellent point made about disabilities and their obligation to not only take a complaint at the counter - but also provide reasonable accommodation for those with disabilities. Clearly your video proves that they don't give a F!*k about anyone but themselves.

Consider making your complaint directly to the Equalities and Human Rights Commision (EHRC).

This BS policy of not being able to make a complaint at the counter to me, is a criminal offence in it self, because thousands do not have internet or the ability to make a complaint on the phone, this needs to be addressed, BIG TIME!, let alone the thin blue line & LBGTQ nonsense too, police officers are supposed to be neutral, plain & simple!, Bless TLA...
Long history of bent officers out of that place. In the late 80s got stopped by CID who pulled out a hammer & a screwdriver from their car & nicked us for going equipped so it's always been rotten to the core in my eyes
Feeling anxious or nervous speaking on the phone is not uncommon. Not everyone is comfortable with the internet. So complaints CAN be made at any police station with an open front counter.

The woman inside looked appalled that you would force her to actually do any work by taking a complaint. Huge red flag with that one.
Plenty of people would have problems getting on the phone to make a complaint to the police, so well done for focusing on this. Phone the police to make a complaint, and you'll have to give your name, address, phone, email, photo ID before proceeding.

The reason they won't take a complaint at the counter is to massage the figures,like the burglary figures,make it difficult,then they won't report it.
Pin numbers COULD be useful to a terrorist irrespective of your intentions. That could land you a max of 30 days in a police cell without a solicitor. Luckily it looks like most British police have given up locking horns with auditors for sheer inconvenience

As an autistic person with a lot of experience with dealing with the police, I have seen firsthand how much contempt the police have towards the disabled community especially those of us who have learning disabilities.
And its disgraceful I really hope I can shed some light on this discrimination
Yeah, I'm blind and I've had the Met do some horrible things to me too.
Which is why I don't appreciate TLA getting it wrong with his demands for reasonable adjustments he is not entitled to. They treat us badly enough and act like we are all faking it already. We don't need TLA giving them reason to solidify that belief.
As for autistic people specifically, you will find it very helpful to remind the police of the judgments in the ZH v Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police 2012 case and the appeal Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police v ZH 2013 whenever you have any dealings with them. Reasonable adjustments MUST be made and the police must NOT collapse their treatment of disabled people down to being identical to how they treat the able bodied.

Police officer at the desk was hopeless she hadn't a clue about the correct procedures.
When you complain about the gang badge, the complaint gets shut down by other gang members, that are sergeant's or inspectors that previously wore the TBL/gang badge, I've had that experience recently with the corrupt BTP at Waterloo .

I don't bother too much about the thin blue line badge, but when you are on the look-out for that, could you also keep your eyes peeled for the stupid rainbow coloured alphabet people's lanyards, bracelets, badges etc - I'm sick and tired of seeing police wear these items, thereby showing support only for certain members in society - thereby not being impartial in the discharge of their duties.
All cops are supposed to be impartial, yet I've seen these symbols and emblems even displayed on the cars of some forces, not just on their uniforms!
With regard to the seatbelt at the end... It is not a legal requirement for the DRIVER to wear a seatbelt whilst reversing. This is to do with turning to look out of the rear window.

The Met Police website clearly says you can complain by "using our online complaint form...write to us...call 101...visit your local police station" I Googled it while you were arguing with that slouchy, prissy policeperson at the station counter. I also Googled the question of whether the Commissioner had banned the thin blue line badge. He did, in July 2023.

This is getting to be a serious matter for concern. Officers disobeying official orders, failing to take complaints, insulting rude, slovenly, incompetent. Discriminatory against disabilities. Yet 90% of complaints according to the Casey report are not upheld, which she raised as a concern. The Met has become unfit for purpose and must be disbanded and cleaned up. We had another rapist only recently.
Can anyone give me a lead on this rapist please. I want to read up on it.

Whenever a auditor complains about a fellow gang officer, the reply is always call 101 as they just can’t be bothered, could see it so clearly on her face.

It's a completely valid point, about the phone situation, though if you
were not effected by it, it would be easy to think otherwise. The PC
behind the counter, asking you to explain why you need her to follow
the rules, needs to fall in line, not perform a subjective interrogation.
She isn't the arbiter / gatekeeper, deciding who can complain & how.
No it's the other way around. When TLA started going on about wanting things he was not personally entitled to the woman knew he was behaving vexatiously.
It's a bad idea to get into making vexatious complaints since your name goes on a blacklist and all your complaints go in the bin. Become a real nuisance with it and the police will take revenge on you via the law. Civil or criminal depending on what they feel like hitting you with.

TLA is perfectly capable of making his complaint in a regular way. He does not need the reasonable adjustment for some other person. By demanding someone else's reasonable adjustment that he does not need he shows himself to be of bad character and his motivations dishonest.
Do you get how that can have bad consequences for TLA sometime down the line when he needs something but no-one wants to have anything to do with him because he behaved badly?

That's what I think. Checking the facility exists to correctly handle such a
situation, as required, by anyone. That's what I perceived was happening.

They're so quick to come out and question a person filming outside the police station but a recent report says The Metropolitan Police is not doing enough for children being exploited or at risk of exploitation, a report says. His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) said the force's response was not currently effective.

In addition, people with mental health difficulties, i.e. anxiety, depression and PTSD etc, find speaking on phones very difficult, sometimes to the point of completely impossible. To hear that the police will not help people with this issue, it's so wrong 😔

@thelaughingauditor I absolutely get it. I also really appreciate when you say that you may have sight issues when they refuse to verbally give their shoulder numbers. The look of realisation on some of their faces when you say that just shows that they do not put disabilities at the forefront of their decisions, and we're supposed to trust them!
Reported a theft of an amazon delivery left on my doorstep. All caught on my neighbours ring doorbell and yet I've been told they'll be in touch some point within a week 🙄🙄 a week! Wth! Ridiculous! Keep going, mate! You're doing good work! 👍

Absolutely scandalous. I have a close relative who has a severe stammer. He finds it hard to even have a conversation with a stranger. Using the phone is literally impossible as his anxiety goes through the roof,😮and also has extremely limited Internet experience or knowledge. How would these arrogant tyrants deal with him. Keep up the good work.

They may as well close all police stations as it seems they no longer wish to help or engage with the public.
It's quite interesting and poignant what PTTP said , if the basic fundamental policy is being ignored and not implemented properly at a basic level then this will have a huge knock-on effect at a more serious level.

The corrupt one still wear the badge , its a gang within a gang thing. How come they say they are short of staff and cant find the time to deal with some crimes but are able to send loads of them out for a man with a camera, even though they have order not to do it ? Also it always seems to be the most hateful and triggered officers that show up?
