Your on the Vass gear!! I have had a pair of similar waders by Guy Cotton and have had them for about 10 years, not perfect anymore. I mainly use stocking foot waders with studded wading boots, for lure fishing. Which get about a 2 year life span

Hi damonz83, it would be nice to get to wear stocking foot around here but the mud would destroy the boots in no time! You cant beat stocking foot for comfort and warmth though! The PVC waders do have their draw backs, namely that they are not breathable, but for the mud they are great!

Tight lines, and good luck on some bigger cod before your season ends, they are rare catch here.

I just got some of these they are the most practical waders I have owned.....fantastic. I would just say for safety please if you are wandering into fairly deep water please where a belt as if you full and these things start filling up you won’t be able to stand up again.

Great Video ! These waders look heavy duty. I usually get punctures and tears in my waders. These waders might prevent that. Cheers ! 🐟🐟🐟💙💙💙

Thanks for the review - certainly beats just enthusing about them in the shop. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with them. I have a pair, and I have a couple of issues : one is with the straps, on one side, the clip is different and I can’t understand why? Any ideas? The other is with layering and what is best to wear underneath as I’ve had issues with frictions burns on my leg just above the join on the boot. What’s the best way to avoid that?

dont think about there breathable , they are utter crap. I had them for 4 trips wildfowling in mud, i wore the back of the knees while WALKING and they came away at the front of knee.went straght back

i had the cheaper version no knee protection just standard, none breathable ones,i told them i would be reviewing them got mine last year at the end of the salmon season so did not have much use last year this year started ok but slowly but surely they started leaking,i did a lamp test on them and found little pin holes i tried fixing the holes but i keep on getting more pin holes and have found out what is causing them, thistles go streght through the material, and its unavoidable brushing past thistles at night thumbs down, perhaps they would be fine for sea fishing as long as there are no thistles around, going to try painting the inside with clear silicone mixed with turps to make the silicone thinner so i can paint them with a brush and look for normal waders the heavy type they might last longer,
stay clear of any thing prickly or your money will be wasted
