I work at a company and I'm using your videos to help me improve my workflow process. It's crazy how well and articulate you are. You saved me many hours, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Yep, it worked. Thank you! TIP: For anyone who has unused layers that are turned off in Animate but "flash" at the beginning of the exported video, use the Frame settings options to start at frame #2. I did that and the problem went away -
You are a lifesaver. Straight to the point, no frills, cut and dry. Better answer than what i found in forum posts from adobe on google. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Yo, Devon! You are the ONLY person on UA-cam - and the web itself, ha! - that showed what was REALLY important: switch the background layer to GUIDE! That's what was messing up with my alpha channel export. You nailed it. Thanks. Cheers from São Paulo/Brazil!
I know you may never read this, but thank you. Im trying to port madness combat sprites, and i really needed to know how to get a transparent background. Thank you.
Super helpful video! I did have a couple questions tho. When working with a team, do you want to send each other image sequences files? Will it allow them to implement the files you sent into their own Adobe animate program? I’m just curious how working with a team works in general, especially when it comes to sending animated work to one another
Hi! Wonderful video, thank you so much :) One question. How to export my animation to mp4 format with the background of 50 % transparency? I set the background image in my animation document ( I used .jpg photo for that) and in layer properties of that image I set it to 50%. However when I export the animation the final result is that the background image is appearing 100% again in the video. :(
I have a question, do you know how to export a animation that has opacity on it. Because every time I export it it's wither not there or not even a little transparent.
So, then how would you use the PNG sequence to make the animation? Is there a way to combine them and keep the transparent background? I'm trying to do a motion tracking project
@@devonkong when I export it without AME I can only export it as a quicktime and I don't have after effects yet so I export it as H.264 with high quality at 1080p but when it goes through AME it comes out bad is there a way to show you
Hi! So... I have a bit of a problem... When exporting, it has a small outline of black pixels which I did not add, how could y get rid of that? Is there a way?😅
hey i have problem with my adobe animate it doesn't let me to export my animation to a video when i want to export it, it shows me this "ERROR initializing java runtime environment. you may need to reinstall flash" idk what to do with that please i need help
Do you mean a static (non-moving) image? And transparent in which way? If you just want to make it partially transparent, any good image editor can adjust the alpha level (transparency). But don't forget you will have to have something behind the transparent portion in an image in order to see something other than black on those parts.
This is not on you, but I was looking for how to export videos from photoshop without Media Encoder. I am becoming more and more frustrated with how poor google search results are. Anyway, hope the one extra comment is good for engagement, even on a two year old video. Cheers!

When exported, the video is at a low quality. How can I fix that?
Thanks!

Instead of using opacity you have to use alpha effect. Then it renders ok.
Thank U ❤

Muito obrigada, otimo video - Tks for greet video

Does it look okay when you export it directly from Animate? Without going through AME?

This does NOT work at all for PC, quicktime is Mac exclusive. For PC just send as a GIF instead of quicktime
