I totally agree with you, people just love using such corny statements related to Italians, such a boring stereotype. I actually think the Japanese build their bikes with MORE passion than Italians :D
Had mine a year, has been to Germany three times and Switzerland once. Done 9000 miles with no problems. Tyres lasted 6000 miles. Brilliant!
