You guys are great no wonder your channel seems to be growing well, good luck in the New Year. As for Poland, I honestly believe it is the most underrated place in all of Europe, great people, great cities, good beer (even though I've quit boozing for years, I have drank loads of Polish beer) and all their squares and old towns and stuff are beauts. On top of all that, it is possibly one of the cheapest places in Europe!
Pretty much all accommodation in Poland will have stairs because of how the buildings are. I really want to go back to Poland now after watching this!
Heya Don! 👋
Totally agree with everything you mentioned. Its a brilliant country and has everything! Very liveable and beautiful 🥰 Thank you for watching!
Zapomniałeś, że każdy, kto ma serce, jest w Polsce witany serdecznie. Zawsze i wszędzie. Tylko jest jeden problem Bez serca wymiatamy i nie chcemy takich. Wiesz o czym piszę. Wszyscy, ale z serduszkiem.
Poland looks awesome!! I'm living vicariously through you guys and getting lots of inspiration for my next Europe trip ✌
Definitely add Poland to your travel list, its incredible!
Thanks so much for watching 😊
Looks a little gem, I have been to Krakow, but have added this to my ”weekend break cities” list. Another great video 🥰. Good work Steve for powering through, after sooo many videos, I forget the commitment you both show to your channel, especially when you are not feeling it / 100% 👍👍😁👏🏻😍😁
Oh absolutely add Wroclaw to your list, we'd go as far to to say its in our top 5 favourite Euro cities! A lot smaller, less touristy/hectic than Krakow. Yes, Steve did well to pull through - was a bit touch n go there for a minute though 😅
Cheers Adz -Appreciate you!
I was born in Wroclaw and I love your video. It was really well done and did the justice to my beautiful hometown ❤ and your pronunciation of the towns name is almost a perfect as is your pronunciation of other Polish words. It’s one of the best actually from all the other videos of foreigners visiting Poland that I saw on UA-cam. Thanks for your work
This is one of the best compliments we could receive, thank you for your kind words - we really appreciate it ❤️
Must agree with everything my fellow Wrocławianin said. You captured very well why we love our City so much! For us it has everything and it is perfect! Kudos to you Aussie Brethren!
Thank you Bobby, we are so grateful for our Polish viewers! So friendly, welcoming and kind - we appreciate you! 🙏
best city in Poland
Brilliant city isn't it! Definitely the most beautiful 💕
Regards from Cambridge in UK
Good jobbing. Tips & curiosities harmoniously balanced with personal input. From ex-native of Wroclaw
Appreciate that! Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to comment 🥰
You made it to Poland after all. Make sure you visit my hometown, Toruń.
Hi Mark! Yes we finally made it to Poland and absolutely LOVE it! 🇵🇱❤️
I’ve been following your travels since you visited Romania. Love your editing and videos, keep up the good work and I hope your channel grows bigger, much love
Thanks so much Adrian, we really appreciate this! Glad to have you with us following along on our adventures -we hope you continue to enjoy the videos! ❤️
Love this! My family and I followed the lamplighter on our trip to Poland this past summer as well! Looking forward to the next video!
Thanks very much, Lola! Were you and your family as excited as we were to find him? 🤣 Such a cool, unique thing to do isnt it!
@@KristyandSteveactually, yes! And we followed him way longer than others in the group 😂
Nice Video !
Thanks very much Peter! ☺️
really excellent . my husband is from town near warsaw and you did a good job of this Wrocław video
Thank you! Hope you like our Warsaw food video we filmed after this one 🥰
cool
Thanks!
I wonder why they don't allow filming inside of the Cathedral. Perhaps for privacy reasons? I used to go to school not far from there, and I'd regularly go to confession in that Cathedral. I sure wouldn't have wanted to be filmed in this situation, it would have been very distracting. Yeah, I think that might be the reason. You are very enjoyable to watch, thank you for sharing our beautiful Wroclaw with the world 🥰
Hello Katharina! Thanks so much for watching, we are glad you enjoyed our video. We LOVE Wroclaw ❤️
Hey happy new year you guys 🥳👋👋🥳 another brilliant video glad to see you both back 👋 I wonder if that guy who lights the lamp posts up has to go around again in the morning to put them all out again 🤷♂️😆 see you in the next on 👍
Chris, that is a brilliant question! Would love to know the answer -might have to go down a rabbit hole now 🤓
Thanks for watching, its good to be back uploading regularly (although we are still somehow 7 weeks behind lol 😅) Hope you had a lovely Xmas & New Year!
@KristyandSteve
Ha ha well if you find out let me know it was the first thing I thought when I saw him lighting them 😂 and you will both have to upload more regularly 😁 yeah had a lovely Xmas and new year thanks for asking all the best guys 👋
Late November annual Xmas Fair starts another one is Midsummer/ St John's Fair in June. November is a bit of a flaut as for tourist influx. Maybe March is so. 👍😉
We just missed the markets by a few days unfortunately 😥 - just another reason to revisit Poland ❤️
❤❤❤
🥰
I guess he's the last lighthouse keeper. This is a unique phenomenon to see in the 21st century.
Absolutely! Hopefully he stays around for years to come ☺️
Very good pronunciation of Polish names. I didn't notice any error.
This is the best compliment we could receive, thank you so much! 🙏
Pokój i Miłość dla Was, dla każdego.
Peace and Love to you, to everyone.
Dziękuję 🙏🥰

Hi Bobi! 👋

Hard sheep's cheese - oscypek. Soft ewe's mlk cheese - bryndza. 👍
Thank you so much! 🙏
Trzymaj męża z daleka od talerza, bo będziesz potem miała problem.😮
🤔
👍
😀
Where is your second video of Wroclaw when you went in the cherry bar?
Hello, the cherry bar was filmed in Warsaw and is in our "Australians trying Polish Food in Warsaw" vlog (link is pinned in first comment of this video) 🥰
Excellent sorry I thought it was the one in Wroclaw
I’ll watch it ❤
Hope you like it! ☺️
They restored these gas lamps not preserved them. Cabbage soup - kapusniak. Sauerkraut - kiszona kapusta.
Ahhh good to know, thanks for this information 🥰
i was thinking that this market place was original build as train station and transformed into martket place because its looks similar from outside like train station in Gdansk, but no, it was original build as martket place
Its very unique isnt it! Beautiful building ☺️
17:55 Restauracja Świdnicka is not the oldest restaurant in the world. It is not even the oldest one in Europe.
Oh really? Must be a marketing thing they use 😫 Thats disappointing! Thank you for letting us know. Have you eaten there before?
How will they remember Poland? S T A I R S 😭😭
🤣
Haha. 15 polish dollars. Lol
Good pick up! 🤣 Forgot the name of the currency in that particular moment haha
Polish ZLOTY 🙂
I think you got scammed at the market. 18 AUD is ridiculous 🤯
Steve agrees 🤣
@@KristyandSteve Figs and oranges don't grow naturaly in Poland. It's too cold and not enough sun. Those have to be imported from Spain, Africa or South America. Price heavily depends on the time of year and how far it has to be imported from. Local fruits would be apples, pears, plums, apricots, cherries, currants, gooseberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.
Bardzo fajne wideo. Przyjemnie się oglądało. Szkoda, że nie widzieliście Panoramy Racławickiej.
Thank you 🙏 We just had a look at the Racławice Battle panorama, WOW! Very impressive. Would have been great to see in person...next time! ☺️
