Wow the cities in Central Asia are so diverse and unique. Tashkent seems like a wonderful place filled with so much to see and so modern looking. That train station was lovely. Great video as always. Matt you have the most mischievous smile. Can't wait to see where you go next.
I went back and watched this video because I missed it when it first came out. I really liked this one! I enjoyed seeing the mosques and shopping areas. The architecture was so beautiful! Those guys in the food area seemed so nice too. I can't wait to see the rest when you go back. Also it was a lot of fun seeing Matt duck out of the way of the camera.
I watched this video sometime in the last two days. Then last night I had a dream that I was in a foreign country (unknown) , sitting at a bar, and I asked the bartender what bourbons he had. He said he had only one but it was premium quality. He called it Tashkent! Isn't it funny how the mind works? Peace out!

I agree with your sentiment on markets Julia, I do understand that the guys need to sell their wares, but it is kind of stressful and intimidating. Such kind people, that lady at the souvenir stall and also the guy at the entrance to the Hazrati Imam complex. Looking cute in that hat by the way! OMG the hotel behind you at the start of this video I was staying in there up till a few days ago. Hotel Uzbekistan. Also ate Plov in that big plov eating place. Best Plov in Uzbekistan 👍

Frazorzo. Dear friend, I am from Tashkent, I often visit India, and I really like it. The same can be said about Indian food, I am not used to such food, but I will not go down to your level. Every time I come to India I take food from Uzbekistan with me and eat Uzbek cuisine that can be found in Delhi.

The people are not delightful at all, i do like the women but the men are very agressive very rude and very bigoted, dont go , its not very nice.

The train station is cleaner than any train station in USA and Europe.

You can use english in Tashkent...lots of young people speak in english and some of them understand basic things.
Learn some phrases in uzbek. Not much people speak Russian too. And Google translate works good
