    Instead of a sliding lock for the printer enclosure, I would've designed a self locking latch. Just put an angle on it so when you push it closed it slides back automatically and snaps into the locked position. The current design is nice too, but I imagine it'd be inconvenient since you don't really need to lock the door, just prevent it from opening freely.

    Cut the door lock at 45 degrees from the inside so will close with one hand

    How do you waterproofed the watercan?

      I didn't do anything. But you can use transparent silicon sealant or resin.

    I’m trying really hard to find information on how to make a time lapse like this. What is the process? I have the same printer but I want to time lapse with the extruder not in the way. Please help.

      Heyy, you have to tell he sicer programm to move the Extruder away every layer. For mmaking the video you can use octoprint (you find much on youtube) or you install your camera with a simple trigger at that spot the extruder moves away. So you make a picture every layer.

    can someone please tell me how they make those timelapses without the hot end there printing it

      There are tools that will move the hot end out of the way after each layer so a picture can be taken. The ones I have seen use Raspberry Pi.

    You can see some bad layers you should try adjusting the settings and hotten or cool you nozzle temp

    the lock is super neat to me, but I believe you installed it upside-down, as the notch is good for keeping the lock more secure with gravity keeping the little handle down

      You can install both ways. It has spring inside and it holds the handle in place. No need for gravity to secure it.

      He is probably using the octolapse plug-in for octoprint

      Looks like masking tape

      I use 3mm plain glass and glue stick. Masking tape is under the glass.

    What's the dimensions of your enclosure? I've been looking at making one, and knowing the dimensions would help a lot for me planning...

    7:20 I'm almost certain you put it on wrong. The little notch that is top left is supposed to be bottom right so the pin can't just slip over to the left if you were to accidentally hit the table

    Agree almost everything is useful, but that nice candy bowl - a waste I have no self control if i can see the candy it's all gone i have to leave the candy in the kitchen to make it less tempting. nice video thank you!

      @@Crazyarnold12 get a resin printer instead. Higher detail and with the right resin will be pretty durable. I make my daughter's custom lego blocks with it, works out great. Thingiverse has a lego block template you can emboss custom text onto. Super dope

    THE ORANGE PEELER IS DEFFO GETTING printed i always use a knife dont care 4 the other prints though but great video

      I always peel my orange with a spoon. You start from the top or bottom of orange. But you turn the spoon upside down. Get in there at the tip of the spoon and the spoon rides down the peel with ease. Someone shown me this and been using a upside down spoon since to peel my oranges.

      Yeah even the print time let you time to go to the store, if you're not on the moon, 3D is mainly interesting for customization and maybe so time for piece that are not very available

    opening a orange by hand is vastly faster.....

      upside down spoon is much easier and faster. Start at the tip of top or bottom of orange with the tip of spoon. Now the spoon rides down the peel(under skin). All around the orange and you'll have it peeled in no time.

    I use to think that 3D printing was for making totally useless crap that you can buy for 3 dollars in a Chinese plastic shit 2 dollar store - after watching this video I’m now convinced of. My initial thought.

    Complete waste of money and time. This shows you don't understand 3d printing. It s not meant for printing something that you can buy for 50 p. It s all about customised prints. Not generic items you can get for 10th the cost
