7:34 Yay! My bowl is world famous! Seriously, thanks for featuring it. It was actually one of the first things I designed after I started 3D printing and learned about 'vase mode'.
Instead of a sliding lock for the printer enclosure, I would've designed a self locking latch. Just put an angle on it so when you push it closed it slides back automatically and snaps into the locked position. The current design is nice too, but I imagine it'd be inconvenient since you don't really need to lock the door, just prevent it from opening freely.
I’m trying really hard to find information on how to make a time lapse like this. What is the process? I have the same printer but I want to time lapse with the extruder not in the way. Please help.
Heyy, you have to tell he sicer programm to move the Extruder away every layer. For mmaking the video you can use octoprint (you find much on youtube) or you install your camera with a simple trigger at that spot the extruder moves away. So you make a picture every layer.
I am new to the 3D printing world but does anyone if the material used for the funnel has a good lifetime when reacted with different types of liquid/fluid in a daily basis?
fascinating the way you shoot so that the printer seems to be stationary which method you use. can you make a video or give me directions on how to do it?
the lock is super neat to me, but I believe you installed it upside-down, as the notch is good for keeping the lock more secure with gravity keeping the little handle down
Hi there would really appreciate you explaining how you do your video timelapse which are incredible. The bed does not seem to move at all. Look foward to hearing back from you
7:20 I'm almost certain you put it on wrong. The little notch that is top left is supposed to be bottom right so the pin can't just slip over to the left if you were to accidentally hit the table
Agree almost everything is useful, but that nice candy bowl - a waste I have no self control if i can see the candy it's all gone i have to leave the candy in the kitchen to make it less tempting. nice video thank you!
@@3DPrintsBuilds yeah I really want to print lego parts because I don’t have any of the right prices to build stuff even tho the 3d printed plastic will break easily

I always peel my orange with a spoon. You start from the top or bottom of orange. But you turn the spoon upside down. Get in there at the tip of the spoon and the spoon rides down the peel with ease. Someone shown me this and been using a upside down spoon since to peel my oranges.
Yeah even the print time let you time to go to the store, if you're not on the moon, 3D is mainly interesting for customization and maybe so time for piece that are not very available
upside down spoon is much easier and faster. Start at the tip of top or bottom of orange with the tip of spoon. Now the spoon rides down the peel(under skin). All around the orange and you'll have it peeled in no time.
I don’t understand why he’s printing up everyday items you can buy at any Walmart. The entire point of 3D printers is to make unique or custom things you can’t get anywhere else.
I use to think that 3D printing was for making totally useless crap that you can buy for 3 dollars in a Chinese plastic shit 2 dollar store - after watching this video I’m now convinced of. My initial thought.
@@larrywheels1869 Unless they want to. You do know that people are free to make their own decisions, huh? You do you, let others make their own decisions. FFS!
Complete waste of money and time. This shows you don't understand 3d printing. It s not meant for printing something that you can buy for 50 p. It s all about customised prints. Not generic items you can get for 10th the cost

Thanks for sharing your cool design.
I've printed that funnel before. It makes an interesting sound while it circles around printing
Dude, your "3d printer cabinet" was my favorite part of the video. Nice setup.
Downloaded for later prints. Thanks.
Gooooood work. God bless you.

Makes a pretty good start for a triggered firing mechanism.
I would use magnets to keep it closed
Cut the door lock at 45 degrees from the inside so will close with one hand
Hi, could you help with the setup for printing?
How do you waterproofed the watercan?
I didn't do anything. But you can use transparent silicon sealant or resin.
@@3DPrintsBuilds Ok thanks. Should i choose a big or a small nozzle diameter?
@@drasernauser8021 I printed it with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.28mm layer height
How do you record it ?

Why is your hot end attachment way over out of the way of the print?
can these be made with resin type printers?
I don't own resin printer, but I think you can.

Why do I have to print funnel instead of buying set of 5 for $1 in the local store?
Cool things! May I ask: What filament did you use for the drill dust collector at 9:50 ? because it looks cool :)
I used Devil Design green PLA.
On a related note... have you seen the ones that you can connect a vacuum cleaner hose to?
can someone please tell me how they make those timelapses without the hot end there printing it
There are tools that will move the hot end out of the way after each layer so a picture can be taken. The ones I have seen use Raspberry Pi.
Music playing like I'm going to raid a drug house, meanwhile the guy is assembling a camera stand.
You can see some bad layers you should try adjusting the settings and hotten or cool you nozzle temp
Great prints!

He's using Octolapse
Great job. Get a lot of inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!

You can install both ways. It has spring inside and it holds the handle in place. No need for gravity to secure it.

He is probably using the octolapse plug-in for octoprint
Hes got it set to take a photo after every layer
Such a cool music!
Good ideas, man, but I would like to know what is that on your printing table to adhere the material? Scotch tape? What type. Thanks
Looks like masking tape
I use 3mm plain glass and glue stick. Masking tape is under the glass.
Is it used for mass production ??
I hope it is only for prototype...
Please reply...
What's the dimensions of your enclosure? I've been looking at making one, and knowing the dimensions would help a lot for me planning...
My enclosure dimensions are W=61cm D=65cm H=55
Great job
What’s up with bed adhesion?
What do you mean?

how big is your print bed?! Mine is tinyyyy

You can't print without nozzle.
still havent found an actual useful 3d printed item
Can u please clearly explain step by step from how to select the image to how to print??
Can u change selfie photo taken in phone to 3d miniature???
