This makes Coachella look way more fun than any of the glossy insta stories. Vibing out with friends gathering crazy stories is the essence of a good festival! Loved your editing.
It is so fascinating to see the more unglamorous side. But it made me realize how different the mentality is in the US. I am from Europe and we also have music festivals here but the cool part IS the camping, and yes of course the acts but the main excitement are the after party's on the camp grounds.
i go it alone car camping at Coachella since 2006. do it myself. cook my food on my one burner propane stove or i get on the free camp shuttle to the supermarket. it’s hot & dusty. saps your energy. acclimate or have a fan. bring your own shower tent, no lines.
It’s the experience. Go with the right people and this comment will be different. And of course the music! My favorite artist in one spot. And honestly some artist is the worth the price. One artist single 2 hour event can cost me about 500 bucks. Chella is about the same price and for 3 days
This is such a real and authentic breakdown and vlog of Coachella. Thank you for this perspective that most would never even think of (like me) until you actually go to your first Coachella
Yeah love a CeCe video. It’s definitely interesting to see this aspect if chochella. As someone who has never gone and gets all of their chochella content from what one could call a “VIP festival goer” this gave me a new perspective.
Protip - take the free morning shuttle to ralphs use the bathroom at the coffee shop in the parking lot and get yourself a reasonably priced coffee+breakfast - 100000% shower at night before bed. You are also allowed to bring a bottle of liquor or case of beer back with you from the grocery store + food if you want something fresh that wont keep otherwise
I’ve never been to Coachella I have been to stagecoach, I always shuttle in and it definitely is the way to go if you have the money to do so. I’m to old for car camping lol this is a great video of the reality of camping at festivals. I wanted to add I’ve never missed a headliner or a shuttle. We’ve always stayed until the end and shuttled back. They go back and forth for at least an hour if not more after the festival is over. Just wanted to add that in in case someone is swayed away from shuttles. It’s actually a very well oiled machine. Last year it was 104 it was awful lol
I feel like it could even be worth it getting an Airbnb just cause if the dust, shower and toilet situation and the possibility of being robbed 😅. I'm not a fan of really hot weather so I'd probably never ever go but IF I did, I'd probably splurge on the accommodation 😅
I like your channel. You're someone I admire, but I don't necessarily want "your life" but I want one similar in a lot of ways and seeing how you did it is helpful and fun. Thanks for sharing.
I would be slanging iced coffee for $6 till the ice was gone lol. You can buy coolers that keep it frozen even in the sun. It would be worth the investment. You probably just have to keep it kinda low-key. Thats just my mentality with everything I do. There's always a way to pay less than you have to. It's not as important as you get older because you realize that being able to enjoy AND relax at events can be worth spending money on if you have it. Hustling is obviously without stress but it's healthier to experience great things in person than it is to not even try to.
I enjoy your videos. I am originally from NYC.. I enjoy watching your life in New York. It brings back memories. I husband, myself and two boys moved to San Diego eight years ago. It’s been a wonderful transition but I still miss the vibrancy and city atmosphere. It was fun to watch Coachella, as we often vacation in Palm Desert and Palm Springs. We have been there and watched the shuttles leave for Indio and we’re almost empty-nesters and thought about going. I appreciate your candor and the ability to have a closer look at Coachella. Your accomplishments are impressive, but more compelling is your self-awareness. Would love to hear more of your history. You mention dissension with your parents and turning a corner with that. I’m sure that shape d you and would be curious to hear more😊

yes exactly!! thank you so much :)

i've really been wanting to go to a european festival for that reason! glastonbury has been on my list

So everything overpriced, long lines, dust everywhere, sweating all day, all for the gram? I don't get it why so many people go lol
Seems kinda stressful 😅
Yeah, still seems overhyped
the music?? and other cool experiences

Hmmmm…I could do long lines, expensive drinks and food…it’s the camping that I’d definitely have to pass on. 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️

I love your videos and editing style sm!! Damn the pricing is crazy and not at all talked about, I'm so glad you made this vid!
thank you!! yeah i was really surprised by how coachella was portrayed in social media so thought it would be fun to show people!
I have no desire to visit Coachella as I dislike mega crowds but I found this video to be really relaxing and a great insight. Well done.
Yup never going to Coachella! 😂
This is a very realistic video of Coachella(which I like) and it's very honest:)
also I'm early
Hope you have a good day!xx
thank you for watching! it's a lot of fun but definitely not glamorous haha

I just don’t understand the whole thing tbh. But then I don’t camp and I can’t stand lines unless it’s Disney.
i’m glad you shared the real experience on what it’s really like instead of just showing glam pros of chella i’ll be going this year wish me luck
The ultimate instagram vs reality.

I would never go to coachella but i happily follow cece's experience ;)
you basically get the same experience watching this but without the lower back pain and dust
@@CeceXie 😅👌🏻
Good to know the insight of coachellla… it looks so happy from outsider point of view
it’s definitely fun but not what it’s portrayed like!
best coachella vlog out there end of story

thank you! maybe i’ll do a q&a on here for a subscriber milestone or something :)
Great vid explaining a side a never new of Coachella.!
Great video can’t wait for the next vlog 💕
thank you! :)
@@CeceXie it was also a good public safety announcement - people with asthma should not attend I didn’t realise how much dust there was!
Would people actually eat though? Wouldn’t everyone be high or drunk all the time?
Thanks for keeping things real, Cece! Enjoyed the vid! Where are your tortoise shell sunglasses from? They are so cute!
thanks! they’re from target bc i accidentally forgot to pack them and needed them to keep the dust out of my eyes!
Love this vlog. You brought us the raw and real experience 👌🏽😍
