cece xie epitomizes the new money, aspirational elite: not rich, judgmental, status obsessed, politically correct. Worst. Most lawyers I meet are like this. These people are ruining america
I absolutely love this! I recently got my master's in psychology and decided to open my own business after having the academic/PhD route planned for years. I'm a content creator as well so I relate a lot to what you are going through. The freedom of having the time to do whatever you want but simultaneously feeling the constant self-created time pressure and a need to do more. There is uncertainty but also a deep knowing that the future will be better than you could ever imagine. And what you said last, taking off the prestige and seeing who you are and what you want without it. I can't belive you don't have a bigger exposure, but I know how the algorithm works and it seldom has to do with the quality of content. Everything at the right time! Thank you for the video ♥. Sending you love ♥
i miss the stability of the biglaw paycheck and my colleagues from my old firm, but that’s about it! i like having a lot of time for deep work nowadays that isn’t really possible in biglaw given the cadence of work
Maybe over time you can develop the pay you had and it might even be more sustainable in the long run. Keep at it! At the very least you will live longer, and that is worth something! :-) @@CeceXie
i feel like it's the most awkward thing ever for content creators to start recording then go back to their bed and pretend to wake up LOL But awesome video! I'm considering law school after i finish uni so seeing your journey is so inspirational
i know :( my editor tells me that i need more b-roll though and it's better to have shots of me in them, so i've swallowed the judgments about doing some actions solely for the footage... willing suspension of disbelief, okay?? and thank you! i'm glad you enjoyed the video and get something out of learning about my non-traditional path :)

You should do a video if you enjoy your current lifestyle more or less than your big law lifestyle.
