Been to Coachella 5 times (2014-2018) and I can say that this is an honest review of Coachella. I'm so happy to see that you British lads had a great time! It's the cleanest, friendliest and most well organized festival I have been to. As long as you are prepared for the heat, dust (wear a bandana over your face when walking in big crowds) and the expensive drinks (remember, ahem, loose security) there is something for everyone at this festival. Go with an open mind, it's very easy to ignore and go around the influencers.
The festival itself looks like my idea of hell but as always the content is top drawer. Congratulations on another classic lads. Hopefully see you at Bloodstock this year if you're going 🤘

Great video. I recommend everyone to camp at least once when going to Coachella. Such a great experience. My face lit up when you guys went to the little hill the first night. It's kind of a tradition for people to watch the sunset there. I do also recommend people who are camping, take advantage of the showers at night. Leave the festival 30-40 minutes before the night ends and make your way to the showers. Trust me, you'll feel refreshed after a long day of drinking and sweating. You British fucks had me laughing throughout the video. Thanks for that.

As a young(ish) father, I’m telling you that guys are fucking awesome, watching you lot at a festival really makes me miss the festivals, download was my last one a few years ago and I’m gagging to go, downside is all the guys are married with kids and it’s hard to get everyone pinned down. Just FYI from a native SoCal, you are not expected to tip when you get fast food. The fast food places started asking/offering you the choice to tip about 5 or so years ago but you are not obligated to give them anything extra. The festival seems really well-organised and the general cleanliness of it is amazing to me. That being said, the prices are an absolute rip-off even by festival standards, the desert seems like a bad place to host an event like this and the music almost felt like an afterthought. Coachella looks way better than I was expecting but I'd definitely rather be up to my knees in mud at Donington 😂
Lol the music is definitely not an afterthought, the desert is an amazing setting. Being flanked by the San Jacinto mountains is magicial. Golden hour and the mountains turning purple is an incredibly beautiful experience

@@jarno9107 Europeans always say that , but so far this year , Sonar and Prima wasn't god, they have drinking areas but crowded, also full of drunk lads very early on the day of the fest. Went to Tomorrowland and was shit, it's like 10x more pretentious than Coachella + Bad Taste in music , Exit was better , looking forward to Leeds and ADE , and someday going to Glasto if I get the chance. Coachella has a good undercard , the surprise Arcade Fire appearance this year very good . It's safe and convenient to move between stages. A consequence of having people drinking in a spot and not so often, you rarely see people fucked up doing shit in stages or the fest , which I like . Most people are on weed , also like that you can go to dispensaries and buy some excellent quality weed.

Honestly most vlogs I've seen, especially people who have VIP, looked so miserable and like they don't actually want to be there. Makes you wonder why they even go in the first place. But all the people I've seen on tiktok and YT, who have GA and camp, make Coachella seem so much more fun and enjoyable. I think I prefer muddy festivals in europe to Coachella but really interesting to see how much my perception of this festival changed now that I see the camping ground and people who actually DO stuff and attend shows haha

absolutely agree with the final thoughts you gave at the weeknd concert. this year was my first coachella as well and it was absolutely amazing. the only thing was the crowds for the headliners were so dead, seems the only people there for the weeknd were there to take videos. so fucking lame. the one thing you guys missed out on was the do lab, when you were talking about the heat i just kept thinking to myself they need to go to the do lab. its a sick tent with water misters and djs on 24/7 and honestly i spent the most time in there when it was blazing and there was no one i wanted to see.
Weekend 2 was better. The crowd next to me was superb. The Weeknd live was the highlight for me alongside Disclosure and Dave. If you're far in the back like they were, you're going to get the deadest people.

Tipping culture is weird, but you actually didn't have to tip for fast food. They always give it as an option to guilt people into it, but it's totally okay to not tip at fast food. The general cultural expectation is that you only tip of you are served personally. In other words, when you sit down and order at the table.

Great video. I recommend everyone to camp at least once when going to Coachella. Such a great experience. My face lit up when you guys went to the little hill the first night. It's kind of a tradition for people to watch the sunset there. I do also recommend people who are camping, take advantage of the showers at night. Leave the festival 30-40 minutes before the night ends and make your way to the showers. Trust me, you'll feel refreshed after a long day of drinking and sweating.

Just FYI from a native SoCal, you are not expected to tip when you get fast food. The fast food places started asking/offering you the choice to tip about 5 or so years ago but you are not obligated to give them anything extra. The festival seems really well-organised and the general cleanliness of it is amazing to me. That being said, the prices are an absolute rip-off even by festival standards, the desert seems like a bad place to host an event like this and the music almost felt like an afterthought.
Coachella looks way better than I was expecting but I'd definitely rather be up to my knees in mud at Donington 😂
Lol the music is definitely not an afterthought, the desert is an amazing setting. Being flanked by the San Jacinto mountains is magicial. Golden hour and the mountains turning purple is an incredibly beautiful experience
Coachella always has the best lineup in the US, and if you don't go to the massive radio-star acts the crowds are amazing.
I was at Coachella in 2010 and I had heard it had changed a lot since then but wow, I cannot believe how expensive a beer is and how you can't take it outside the bar. Outrageous!

@@jarno9107 Europeans always say that , but so far this year , Sonar and Prima wasn't god, they have drinking areas but crowded, also full of drunk lads very early on the day of the fest. Went to Tomorrowland and was shit, it's like 10x more pretentious than Coachella + Bad Taste in music , Exit was better , looking forward to Leeds and ADE , and someday going to Glasto if I get the chance.
Coachella has a good undercard , the surprise Arcade Fire appearance this year very good . It's safe and convenient to move between stages. A consequence of having people drinking in a spot and not so often, you rarely see people fucked up doing shit in stages or the fest , which I like . Most people are on weed , also like that you can go to dispensaries and buy some excellent quality weed.

Honestly most vlogs I've seen, especially people who have VIP, looked so miserable and like they don't actually want to be there. Makes you wonder why they even go in the first place. But all the people I've seen on tiktok and YT, who have GA and camp, make Coachella seem so much more fun and enjoyable. I think I prefer muddy festivals in europe to Coachella but really interesting to see how much my perception of this festival changed now that I see the camping ground and people who actually DO stuff and attend shows haha

absolutely agree with the final thoughts you gave at the weeknd concert. this year was my first coachella as well and it was absolutely amazing. the only thing was the crowds for the headliners were so dead, seems the only people there for the weeknd were there to take videos. so fucking lame. the one thing you guys missed out on was the do lab, when you were talking about the heat i just kept thinking to myself they need to go to the do lab. its a sick tent with water misters and djs on 24/7 and honestly i spent the most time in there when it was blazing and there was no one i wanted to see.

Weekend 2 was better. The crowd next to me was superb. The Weeknd live was the highlight for me alongside Disclosure and Dave. If you're far in the back like they were, you're going to get the deadest people.
