I watch your videos every day. You have more patience than a dead guy but it always seems to pay off. Your big trout video's are my favorites. I have a 10 foot Pelican which does a great job for me.
Two things Safety First, high visibility will save your life, a flashing bicycle strobe light can be seen in the day or night on top of your helmet or hat and are lightweight remember other folders cannot see you when they are up on plane on the move and get yourself a external radio antenna for your VHF you don't have to mount it until you need it in case you can't hit a cell phone tower or cell phone battery goes out or you drop it overboard
FYI, theres no Hobie sport or AI anymore. But theres two cheaper options called the passport and the compass. Really good kayaks for the money compared to the really expensive ones. I love my 2020 Outback though and am really glad I spent the extra money instead of going with a passport or compass.
@@josephwatts6420 Oh you're totally right! They separated the AI from the others on the webpage and I didnt see it. My bad! Thanks for the correction! I know forsure about the sport though. Got word from Hobie themselves that the sport is no longer going to be made.
I recommend the feel free 13.5 and the seat is the best one ever made and again I don’t care all kayaks are good and the feel free has a wheel in the keel so you don’t need to buy a wheels to get it to the water but I suggest making one so it makes it easier to pull
Why does hobie have those scooped bows? Doesnt that just catch more water than displace it! Can someone please shed some light on it because i cant see the sense in making the boat more wet!
New to kayak fishing myself...just bought a vibe yellowfin to start with ...mostly sticking to lakes and harbors only...looking to buy a fish finder...why did you pick yours and would u recommend it for a first timer?
I only get one I can afford and work the best for me and I think the feel free lure is way better than a hobbie in my opinion no offense but I’m glad to see kayak fishing coming back
Hey! Get out and do some perch fishing! Idk about where you are but the waves aren't too bad and are helping to create some nice holes and bars. Met some other subscribers yesterday and fished with them ✌️👍
Hi Adam, I have a question, does your garmin striker 4 fish finder work the same in salt water and fresh water? Att: pescando para cenar from los Angeles California.
I realize you're a youtuber, so you need to vary your content. P!us, its about what you want to be doing a bit. But, I've been following you for a while (I live in Florida), and I really dig your surf fishing videos. Still love you doing kayak vids... Just wish you'd try to include a touch more surf vids. Maybe that feels repetitive to some, but, me personally, I could watch you slay surf perch and stripes all day long! Lol... That being said, I dig your content, so whatever you decide to do, ill be following along. Thanks for the content, and congrats on your success with your channe!
"by no means an expert"... Well you technically are a professional and you probably have the more experience than > 90% of everyone that watches your vids so.... I'd call you an expert lol
I like how you’re wearing Taku’s merch. Good stuff.
Taku's the shizz!!!
Your hobie , particularly on water , reminds me of my first apartment !
Cool set-up, I like it. Thanks for showing this.

The Pro Angler's are seriously no joke heavy!!!
One thing we know as fishermen and boat owners, the gear and equipment must be maintained 👍
Thanks, Adam! Cool to see the whole set up!
Keep your electrical terminals covered with dielectric grease!!
I greatly appreciate this video. It’s helping me decide what kayak to purchase and how to rig it up. Thank you.
You forgot the hobie compass. That's the one I own.
Sup DHF. I am looking to get into kayak fishing on the salt. I notice you have a new kayak. Could you do a video for that kayak?
Thanks! Good run down.

Great advice- thanks!
Amen and do you know what I would need to connect a fish finder to a battery for a Feel free lire
Not all of the 12 days were from your Hobie. There was the one filmed from the backside of Tocu's yak. LOL. Great video!

No sport... But, I just went to their website. There is an AI. Where did you get that info?
Also, I googled whether it was discontinued, only to find 2021 models. There is totally an AI, and I don't understand why you said there wasn't one.

For your terminals being corrosive, a little water with baking soda and a q-tip go along way,it'll take that off.
Nice setup man! Very well thought out and versatile
Awesome video
Hobie Mirage Outback 2022 or Old Town Sportsman PDL 120? Which one would you prefer out in the open sea.
Keep up the great work Adam! Need less freshwater though 😂 tight lines 🎣
EPIC MAN! Can't wait for another ocean episode (fresh water is just as epic)
Sick kayak, always wanted one!
Love the plug for your merch🤣

what roof rack system are you using to haul/strap that yak on ?
I wish he would reply. It will really help his channel more
Do you think the paddle drive is more efficient than the propeller drive?

How’s your fish finder battery holding up? What’s your input to it?

Are you going to look into buying a boat in the future or keep using the yak for a while?

My kayak is more stable than a hobie it’s 36 inches wide and I love kayaking it’s peaceful and good way to workout

so, is registration/license required for a kayak?...
No, other than a fishing license...
If you add an electric trolling motor, which many have, then yes.
Well...we all want to see Nick's flip now...so please show it for lulz.
First comment, and love the videos, I also liked and subscribed
Passport??

They discontinued the sport. :(
I actually discovered this channel from a video of Adam getting struck by a Rogue Boat...
