Arrk I so lovely to see rock hounding in your stream in Scotland. I am a 68yr old New Zealander from Rotorua. My best stream looks a lot like yours. It's the main river that runs through Thames and tributes. I find mainly yellow, red to brown black Jasper. I wear the same hooded woolen jacket so I don't get shot by the hunter in area.
Happy you enjoyed the video! I lived in New Zealand for a year wen I was 20, one of my favourite places on earth! Although I only spent time on the South Island, look forward to returning one day!!
I loved this, not a word, just the beauty of Creation that speaks for itself. Sometimes UA-cam is so full of people trying to be funny and cute and they take up more time with their being in the spotlight than sharing knowledge and the gems,or whatever, themselves. Thanks so much!
Hadn’t thought about that before, to be honest I just don’t have the time between work and this (don’t even have time to make the videos anymore) but i could give you a list of a few child friendly places to take the kids that they should be able to find a few nice stones, feel free to message me on instagram 😊
Lovely finds! I’m visiting Scotland this summer from the US and wondered what the laws are there on rockhounding. I’ll be spending most of my time in The Hebrides. I did read somewhere that it’s illegal to take any size rocks from beaches in the UK. But what about other areas like lochs or rivers? Any idea what all this law applies to?
Hi and great to hear your visiting Scotland, as for legalities I think technically your correct but don’t worry about it you can freely take whatever pebbles you like I have never herd of anyone getting in trouble for that. Summertime in the Hebrides will be beautiful just beware of the midges!!
@@Faodail925 Thank you!! I’m so happy to hear this! I can’t even imagine seeing a Scottish agate at my feet and the horror of not being allowed to put it in my pocket! I’ve heard about the midges from another Scotland travel video, so I’ll be sure to bring my bug spray! 👌 I am so excited to see Scotland I barely stand waiting until July!
Your going to love it and your going to find loads of agates! Although not sure of many locations in the Hebrides? And as for the midges forget the spray and get a head net, spray don’t work not on the west coast😂
Absolutely stunning work! So perfectly done, just love it!
Nature's treasures - beautiful stones and beautiful work sx
Thank you
Aaah, the thrill of the hunt! 😊

Thank you ☺️
Nice agates. Very nice polish on them all. The first one you polished is probably my favorite one.
That one is my favourite too 😍
Mate, do you do sessions with kids. We are in Glenrothes, and our kids love rocks. We home educate, and a wee field trip for a day would be cool.
