This might be a parody, but this has really happened to me. In Pittsburgh, I had this dude ask me literally 4 times if I wanted to visit his cousins shop since it had everything I could want and he spent most of the ride talking about how great it was. I swear he intentionally took us out of the way so he could offer it again. Not sure if it was really a brothel situation, they were trying to rob me, I don't know, but the guy was persistent as hell that I visit his cousin's shop. I was genuinely uncomfortable.

Hell I personally use my phone's camera to take a closer look at the menu since I sometimes forget my glasses at home, and people can interpret it as me taking a picture of the people in line, which is quite creepy. Basically, acknowledge all possibilities, both decent and horrible ones, and be as realistic as possible.
