Alicia u don’t know how helpful this video really is… I definitely felt overwhelmed with the finishes in this palette…I purchased mine during the VIB sale… and after watching this… I really feel more confident in how I can use the palette. Love the looks u created. Thank u!
Thanks for the video! I really love this palette. For application of the fusion flake shades I would suggest you pick up the product on your finger (pointer) and then with your other pointer finger rub the shade between those fingers until it settles into a smooth shiny consistency and then gently tap on your eyelid without rubbing. The heat and pressure of your fingers rubbing together kind of melts the flakes into a smooth consistency that is much easier to apply which gives more of a glimmer effect that a flake effect. Hope that helps!
I grabbed this palette as a last minute, random purchase during the Sephora sale. Regular eye shadows can be a little intimidating (such as a bright blue) but this palette has inspired me to be creative again. I’m obsessed. Love hearing your thoughts!
Great video! I love these videos. The looks were great to and really showed what we can do with the palette. I'm having a dispute between me and myself and me is winning. Me wants it, myself is fighting it. 😂😂
One of my favorite eyeshadow palette purchases in quite some time! Even though I have only had the opportunity (and the right color outfits!), I really enjoyed both looks that I did with Lightworks 5 very much. And one of my BFF's was literally blown away by the purple shades that I had on the other day! Now she wants that palette, too... except there's one problem, I neglected to mention the $125 pricetag!
I passed on this palette and I feel fine with that decision 😌 I'm just not feeling that extra right now. Maybe one day I will rediscover my passion for shimmering make-up, but my aesthetic is all about the fresh face with some definition. Lips and lashes ✔️ Done.
Brush idea 💡…what if… to mimic a finger ….instead of those little foam brushes….one used leather, basically in the foam brush shape….the reason being that while the finger is amazing, sometimes it’s just too big….or too long nails can be an obstacle….just a thought for any aspiring brush makers 🙂⭐🙏🏼❤
Using this right now to get ready for work! Yes, I do believe it can be work friendly lol! It is the only palette I picked up this year and it was well worth the money! ❤️😘
I grabbed this palette as soon as it dropped ! I have her other palettes and I used them a few times and loved using them so much ! So what I use as bases when using her multi-chrome palettes are her color fix's ! They are beautiful, come in different shades and finishes and can be mixed too ! I have mixed them and created custom shades; and with these multichrome palettes on top were WOW ! Stunning and easy to create looks; I highly recommend her color fix's as bases ! kk back to the vidgeo 😅❤ ok; so I'm back after watching the entire video and yes these palettes are so fun and beautiful and I don't find it intimidating at all; in fact it gets my creativity flowing and like I said; I experiment with her color fix shades and see which I can use as a base and because you literally slap on the color fix (like a liquid eye shadow) I blend it all over and in my crease and outer corners then add those fun shifty shadows on top ! the looks are just so pretty and magical ! and yes I'll also be using the heavenly halos on my face and lips as highlighters 😍 especially the first few shades in that top row (resilient, radiant and protected) and yes centered😱 ugh stunning ! makeup should be fun and get our creative juices going xoxo hope this comment helps !❤😅💕 pps ... forgot to add that Danessa also has color fix shades in nude shades if that helps really ground the looks; from light to dark chocolate browns ! again I highly recommend them as bases or stand alone liquid shadows for the eyes 😍
Hey hey! I was thinking about grabbing it, but decided not to because of my limitation in understanding the palette. Because I feel it’s so complexion heavy, despite the fact you can wear it anywhere, that I would just limit it’s use to sculpt and bronze. BUT, it’s still on my radar, and if I do get my hands on it then I’ll be happy to film with it.
Hi Alicia, I have been debating between this or the industrial 2. I’m sure it’s a hard pick. But if you had to pick one. Which one would that be? (Btw sorry, if you already mentioned this. I watched this two splits) thank you so much ❤
Circling back to this video as I received this palette in my Beautylish box (also my first time doing that!)…and I have no idea how to use it. Thank you!
I love these videos because the colors in Danessa Myrick’s palettes draw me every time, but they also intimidate me. I watch Teach me Tuesdays when I can, but I don’t always have the time. Your post really helps! I bought it for unstoppable as well as the fact that she included shades that apply a bit softer than in previous palettes. That helps because I can go from zero to looking like I’m hoping to appear on a Broadway stage in seconds. To prime my eyes, I actually use her colorfix in shade 8 because my eyelids are darker than the rest of my face (low key owl). Then, I use mac’s contemplative state. I set it with a tiny bit of HourGlass loose powder. I know that is ridiculously extra but darkness around the eyes is cute if you’re an owl- not so much on me😆. Thanks for a great demo. Beautiful looks! I also appreciate your thoughts on this palette.
Alicia i’ m from Brazil, can u help me?! Which one is better: pat McGrath or daynessa?! Here I can’t see the palettes on Sephora.. anda they are so expansive…… kisses 😘
I loved all your looks here--I ordered the DM palette but it looked different on me w/ my fair cool skin-- I was bummed--but I ordered Coloupo's :"Aurora Struck"--as an alternative--haven't received it yet but Morgan Turner reviewed it and do think it is similar but cooler color story! fingers crossed!
The silicone applicators are the best for the flakes. Danessa gave us some with lightwork 4 when ordered from her website and she used them in her videos. I use them for all multichromes now not just hers. They give the finger finish but with precision
Loved this! I love an eye moment too. Every day I've worn this palette, I've gotten compliments, from students, adults, and the boyfriend. Looking forward to following along. I like your vibe.🎉❤
BelleBeauteBar has a good primer for sparkles. I like the Fyrinnae Cosmetics’ tacky primer as well. I really love this palette. It’s inspired and inspiring. It plays well with other palettes as well.
I grabbed it and love it!! ❤❤ I pair it with other palettes and it's stunning. I loved your look with the palette. Ulta has all of PM holiday and I got the lunar palette with 20% off.
do u compare everything u use to something else in ur collection every time u use it? like by shade and palette name and brush name and where they were made.. how do u remember all that when ur focused on new makeup u just got ?
I am so happy I grabbed this palette. It’s so beautiful and fun to use. Danessa’s been on a roll all year.
Me too!!! And Alicia just gave me more ideas.😊
Same, you can go simpler and super bold... Amazing
Yes. This was my big purchase during the sale

This palette is amazing it’s my go to for nights out and takes any look from an 7 to a 10 instantly

I want both of these palettes but I'm all shadowed out I especially want the Isamaya one.
I use the Mac 24 Hour Extend Shadow primer and it’s perfect with this palette!
Are you planning on doing a Groundworks look book? I love all your looks. I love that palette and I have no idea what to do with it.
Same ! Love for brows ! But the full face combos idk

Sigma has a great eye primer. And, for a glitter primer there a couple of indie brands I use that make shimmer type shades POP!

I want this palette so badly!

Hi, can you please let me know what's the lip combo you are wearing in this video? Your lips look fantastic. Thank you 🥰
This palette might be perfect with the Huda Pretty Gringe
Love Danessa Myricks. Such a pretty palette. I had to hold off on purchasing but still loved watching 😊❤
Gonna pass on this one but love what you’ve done with these looks ❤!!!
I need to get one of her palettes!
BelleBeauteBar has a good primer for sparkles. I like the Fyrinnae Cosmetics’ tacky primer as well.

Where on Rephr's website are the mini and max brushes? I can't find them 😩
Look under complete sets, they are there, not sold separately only in the sets but they are still on sale, the mini set is excellent for smaller eyes.
Hi beauty--which brush did you use to apply the color HEALED? ty
Sonia G. "WORKER" right? I want to get this I love how it applied that color!
No swatches? :(
😌...FINALLY ALICIA!!😂🌻🥂
