I’ve said this before that I’m a nurse in a nursing home and I’m very stressed going to work everyday and worrying about our residents. So far none of them have got the virus but I worry about them still. The facility is on total lockdown and it’s hard for everybody. Glad to hear the Melt palette formula has improved. I bought 2 palettes ( fell in love with the green color stories) & was so excited only to be disappointed when I actually used the palettes. The shimmers especially were baaaaad & I found the mattes a little dry & dusty & gritty & just not my favorite to work with. I've since made my own custom green palette from Indie Brand singles & I'm seriously considering decluttering both Gemini & Smoke Sessions since I just don't reach for them, preferring the formulas in my custom palette over either of them. I don't see myself purchasing another Melt palette considering their price tag even though I absolutely love their color choices :( There are other formulas by other brands I prefer/enjoy using more. I think I can dupe the vibe of this 27 & Rust palette fairly easily using my Coloured Raine & Huda Obsession mini palettes. I love those type of colors!

Hey lady!! While I don’t plan buying this pallet I’m so happy that Melt brought up the quality this go round. Now in the future I’ll be open to buying from them again. I only have their Gemini pallet, which is nice. However I don’t waste my time using the first two colors to the far left, it’s too much work. I hope you’re doing wonderful.😁😁😁
Good video Alicia. I was curious about the Melt palette. I don’t have any Melt cosmetics. Someone in our PMG Facebook group said it’s a good palette., but there were 2 shades that were hard to blend. But you blended with this palette effortlessly. By the way, you did a great job blending that Linda Hallberg Spectral palette too. I read Temptalia’s review on the Spectral palette and she gave it a C+ nevsuse she said a few colors including Occult were difficult to work with. I want this palette, but that is giving me pause.
I hadn't thought of comparing Biba to Rust but I was thinking that Sunset could get some similar on the eyes looks. Maybe I will pair Biba and Sunset and see what I come up with. I totally respect Melt for shutting down all operations in compliance with the stay at home order. I've noticed at least one CA based beauty supplier appears to be open and ready for business. I definitely plan to place an order with them when all of this is over-assuming my health and finances are still intact. Off topic but I think you will understand my distress. A shade from my Viseart Paris Edit broke this morning and I felt so guilty using my 91% isopropyl alcohol to repress it. Like, "No, I should be saving this in case I need it to sanitize something...but no I have to save my eyeshadow now!!" Take care Alicia!

I’m kicking myself for not buying this before they closed! I really hope they offer the box set again because I know that sold out pretty fast. I think my main hesitation was because of the mostly negative reviews on the Millennial Pinx palette. I was also hoping to pick this up during the Sephora Spring VIB Sale if I couldn’t get the box set from Melt. Either way, I definitely have enough makeup to play with, I just really want this palette and I’m glad it got a good review!

I was a bit meh about it, as I'm not much of a brown, neutral shadow kind of girl. But what you did with it is gorgeous, from the lipsticks to liner to shadows. Guess I'm going to have to save up, especially as the Aussie dollar is crashing right now!

Actually, looking at your glowing, flawless face with lovely bronzer/contour, i reviewed the list of what’s on your face. Saw that you used TF illuminating palette intensity 01. I have it but can’t get good results, it seems greasy on my face. Do you have a plan to have a video on it? ❤️

...I still have the rust stack somewhere in my makeup stash, sans lid (lost it) with two shattered shadows so its wrapped in aluminum foil. Needless to say, I NEVER use it. But dang, the palette??? I might need to pick it up when its available

I was a bit meh about it, as I'm not much of a brown, neutral shadow kind of girl. But what you did with it is gorgeous, from the lipsticks to liner to shadows. Guess I'm going to have to save up, especially as the Aussie dollar is crashing right now!
