$5 soldering iron from harbor freight lol

You can buy a plastic welder kit from harbor freight for like 16 bucks i just bought one to custom a grille for my mdx

Thanks man! Doing my own DIY grill on my 06 Ford Focus and want to see how I would attach it or in better words get a idea. Only thing is that you should be in a well ventilation area when doing the plastic welds. I would keep a fan to help blow the smoke away from you if you do this again.

After the plastic welding, does it have to sit for a specific amount of time?

Only until it's cool to the touch really, that's when you know that it's solid again

The moment you cut the heart out of your original grille... my heart skipped a beat...now you CANNOT F UP lol...I've been staring at my front bumper for 2 hours deciding if I should go ahead or not lol

Replacement grills are like $35, so if you change your mind it's not hard to go back
