I started laughing when he went pull power and the tentacle just swung like crazy and threw the minifigure.
This has great GBC potential, just need to add some wheels below some of the joints to support them

This is giving me ideas. The movement is so much like a tail. With larger gears, geared down and the sections extended something like this would make for an awesome tail base for an animal like costume
Main issues I could possibly see are the weight of it and potentially what happens if it falls apart. By weight referring to the motor and battery weight primarily, but other things to consider are the force of the tail moving and pulling you. While it looks super well put together main issues with Lego in this context is if a single piece gets loose. Otherwise I'd think it would be a super cool cosplay idea for stuff with tails
