    I’m 3 months post relaxer 🙌 it’s so nice to see someone at the same stage as me. Instead of at the end with a hair full of curly hair. Good job x

    We are the same weeks post relaxer. I normally go between 20-24 weeks, but same here with the scalp issues. So, I'm laying off relaxing for a while.

    Patience is definitely needed when dealing with those new growth. I use to do long stretches, but not any more my max stretch length now is 12wks. Very nice and detailed, your hair looks really thick and nice... Big Thumbs Up on air drying and staying away from heat..👍🏼😉🤗🌹

    Your hair is always so smooth and shinny! It takes me much longer to detangle, when you said 20 minutes like it was a bad thing lol, It takes me like 45 minutes to detangle my hair and I have to wash in 4 sections.

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  6 років тому

      wow that's crazy!! I'm so used to detangling my whole hair in 5 mins lol

    • @TheCelmap
      @TheCelmap 6 років тому

      Lol same here. It tskes me almost an hour or so to detangle my hair. However, when the new growth starts popin'g it takes me somewhere between 2 hours lol, the struggle is real.

    I thought I was the only one who would experience scalp issues after relaxing my hair. I notice after a relaxer my scalp would have a lot of dandruff and I had no idea how to stop it

  • @kraziikiim
    @kraziikiim 6 років тому +11

    I wished my wash day could go as smooth as yours. My new growth loves to hug each other lol. I have to put my hair in 4 sections sometimes even more and it still decides to tangle smh. I'm thinking of switching my creme of nature Argan oil sulfate free shampoo

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  6 років тому +2

      Detangling is becoming time consuming. I wasn't using my usual shampoo, so I know it may contribute to it. I need something a bit more moisturizing with lots of slip next time

    • @PixelPaperDesigns
      @PixelPaperDesigns 6 років тому

      I luv Creme-of-Nature argan line. It wrk gud on my hair. My hair is very thik coarse n wooly. I put mines n 4 sections also n my hair not even shoulder length. The only product I don't like is the intense conditioner n the bottle but I luv the deep treatment n the container. The rest uv the line I luv.

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  6 років тому

      The intense conditioner was bad on my hair too. The shampoo leaves sticky residue, only like the wrap lotion so far in the argan oil line

    • @PixelPaperDesigns
      @PixelPaperDesigns 6 років тому

      Tyiece really 😱 the shampoo wrks well on my hair. Everything except that conditioner n the bottle. I Wana try their coconut milk line cuz I luv their leave in conditioner n foam wrap

    • @kraziikiim
      @kraziikiim 6 років тому

      plush furr I love the line as well but my hair just tangles no matter what when washing with it. Even when I detangle thoroughly before and prepoo. It even dries my hair a little bit than it use to yeara ago. I just want to try something else that will moisturize and leave my new growth feeling amazing

    Glad your sensitive scalp is subsiding. I love the Creme of nature Argan Sulfate free shampoo, it's my staple shampoo especially when dealing with new growth. Is this the longest you've ever stretched?

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  6 років тому

      no I stretch one time to 4 months but it was years ago so I'm not used to going this long all. My usual has has been 9-10 weeks

    Lol I was just about to ask what shampoo were you using...Keracare has a great hydrating detangling sulfate free shampoo that my hair loves. I never experience tangling with it. Makes it so easier to wash my hair myself.

    I'm now 14 weeks post relaxer which is shocking for me as I've always had very slick hair jaw length hair. I want to transition for maybe a year before doing the big chop (trying to hang in there). I changed my shampoo and started using Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Shampoo and I have never ever had the amount of tangles I have now. My hair is literally impossible to detangle so my hair is breaking so badly. I was hoping to keep some length during the transition phase.
    Can you advise on a good shampoo to help with this, especially has I have two textures of hair now? I've also noticed I am now suffering with terrible dry scalp. Did you happen to experience the same thing?

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  6 років тому

      I use Shea moisture Manuka honey shampoo with no problem. It leaves my hair with lots of slip and moisture. Maybe try a different brand, I haven't found another one that works as well yet. Make sure you wash in sections in the shower and keeps the ends straight, rake the shampoo through the hair instead of bunching it up
