When it comes to rego in AUS, NSW is the pits. I moved to South Australia and recently and can’t describe how much easier the process is - and cheaper.
My mate in Barahgup/Mandurah Western Australia had this thing for Sale for quite some time. I have plenty of photos of this inside and out, and I must say that you have done a great job with the interior redesign 👍 I think it was the old gaudy dark timbered English Pub style interior that put off most of the potential buyers, but is looking much better now……. Good job 👏
Great looking rig. The various rego rules around Australia are ridiculous. We've got a 19t 12.5m (40-footer) coach motorhome conversion. Rego in Qld. for it (tag axle) is $1800/year. We're getting it registered in Victoria for under $400 (club permit rules). Unlike in Qld, I don't need annual inspection. WA and NT don't require you to get annuals. That's why there's a disproportionate percentage of motorhomes with WA or Vic. rego.
Its a bit strange that he only had an engineers certification and not a full ADR (Australian Design Regulation) certified.. Even that he didn't have to at all.
I walked through that Truck a few years ago... actually bought a Dual Cab Dyna off the same fella.... He had a bit going on down there at the time building a Blitz Camper Vehicle. Nice Fella
the states have no authority at all, they are a business as is all the "rego" offices , do some research and see what your actual rights are, time to take back our roads from these corporations posing as governments

It would pretty obvious it's in Australia, even if he hadn't named two Australian states multiple times. Apparently the overall allowed length there depends on wheelbase, and this doesn't have enough wheelbase to be allowed 45 feet overall.
@@TassyDeval That is normally called the doghouse ! You can't access much of your engine from the top . Try to change the belts and you're in for a hard time !
I know how you feel with that massive 40 mm oh my god! I love your rig it looks great thanks for showing us happy holidays !! 👍
Why is a Mitsubishi engine a sin in a Mitsubishi Fuso FK102 truck? It goes with the Mitsubishi transmission, Mitsubishi frame, Mitsubishi axles, Mitsubishi suspension, Mitsubishi steering, Mitsubishi brakes...
Ice set up, regos are a joke though. Perfectly legal to rego in WA, Perfectly legal to drive all around Aust including NSW, engineering done in Aust. NSW- no you cant transfer that rego, you need to start again, waste heaps of your time and give us a tonne of your money, then we can give you the same as what you already had.
Just the grill and the doors. Everything else is custom built. Pretty cool hey! The guy was a genius that built it. Unfortunately he has passed on now.
if that Kenworth mobile home doesn't have dual chrome stacks specially the nine inches for me that is not a kentworth that is a big mothar thumper clone of a mobile home

Yep typical Aust different states different rules.

Nice motor home mate, we'll catch up one day for that beer.
The registration rules are pathetic . The States need to get their act together .
Every state is run by a different corporation. All corrupt, no matter where you turn.

The states are autonomous, that's why we have state governments so we can rule ourselves and not have Canberra breathing down our necks.
We have no rights in Australia anymore

Beautiful 💯💯👏👏👍👍. Just wondering how you access the engine?
This actually reminds me of some of the command trucks used now by first responders. Without the comforts of living of course.
love it mate.. i just saw it at the Lockhart truck show recently..
Ha ha seen that around wagga this time last year, great unique looking bus
I believe that "Dave Sparks" bought one similar in the U.S...🤔...nice ride...😉👍

Only thing is......
The steering wheel is on the wrong side! 😂😂😂😂

Beautiful mate,i'd love it
wow wow that special truck

What a beauty.
Interesting build Mate & ya have the money💵💰💵to burn🔥on fuel⛽cost😱for starters ! What ever floats your boat on wheels!
Well done
What a beauty, eh?
Probably about the only motor home or caravan id not crank my fridge motors up for at 2am if you parked in the truck bays. Thats smick

The screen in front of the windshield for stones/rocks?
Nice. 1

Is the yellow mini Kenworth still around?
Mitsubishi in a Kenworth that’s a Sin I’m out of here 🥲🥲
But ya got to admit,,it’s a bit bitchin😂😂😂
Definitely a,,CRIME…😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂,SOMEWHERE,,😂😂😂😂
Yep I'm out of here too ~ Mitsubishi in a Kenworth 😳 Kenworth with a Mitsubishi Engine 😳
and a 5 speed !
The only thing Kenworth about this is the cab.
The Kenworth cab on a Mitsubishi truck seems silly, but I can see why the builder wanted a wider and flat-sided cab to fit with the motorhome body.
It’s not a Kenworth Cab. It’s all custom built.

But they have no issue diving you points on a license for a driving offence that is committed in another state.

The same way as every forward-control van and Class A motorhome: from below, or via the doghouse between the seats.
