Moray eels are my favorite animal in the whole world, I'd love to see more of them on the show!
I am almost speechless everytime I witness Mother Nature's marvellous works. Equally marvellous is the work that you and your team do, Jonathan. Keep being your fantastic selves.
Thanks for the video.
Thanks to advanced cameras and lights!
Without them we cannot see anything just with our bare eyes in deep water.
And thank you Blue World TV without whom I cannot see the beautiful scenes thousands of miles away here in my home.
Thanks for watching!!
I binge-watched your videos and subscribed, you're a really cool channel
Awesome, thanks!! We have over 260 videos so it will take a while to see them all!

Me and my girlfriend are both nature lovers, particularly everything related to the oceans. We love your movies. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Thank you and keep showing us all the marvels of the underwater world.
Thanks for watching!
Again you have spawned A true tale of life in the Gulf of Mexico. And the sea at night, looking like the night sky in Space. From the coral, millions of star like eggs floating. Open garages for Barracudas with a ( Chrysler 440 under the hood). Also ugly frogfish. I know at first i shivered, because of the description of where the coral reef sat. On top of a giant tower rock, 80 feet from the surface, but as usual you put me to rest with the limited life their. And what a great camera woman ! The best in the business ! I'm glad you brought her along to your Blue World !!!!!!
I love that you paid a visit to the Flower Gardens, a hidden gem of the ocean! Most people think the Gulf of Mexico is a dirty, muddy, or barren sandy desert, but it’s far from that! Thank you for highlighting how special the Gulf is! ❤
to be fair, its mostly dirty, muddy, barren sand desert lol
Your videos take me back to when Discovery and TLC had real documentaries. Love it!
Wow, magical! :D (and oh boy 'hit' the water is right, what a drop, lol!) The more I learn about the Gulf of Mexico the more fascinated I am by it, especially the geology; cold seeps and massive sediment layers and all that, super interesting
We want to do a segment on the salt brine lake. That is just really cool.
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, 8:36 That's a Moray
Wow. Just wow.
That was so amazing! Coal reefs are so cool.
WOW!! Just WOW! Such nice footages! Thanks so much for adding some water back to my life!
Hai Jonathan ✋ I'm your big fan from Jakarta, Indonesia. I just want to share my personal story here. when I was 5 years old I drowned into very deep water. Since that moment I've spent painful years in fear of water. Even my mom has to chased me in bath time when I was little girl because I'm really afraid and feel panic. Years passed, I'm trying little by little to face the water and even learn how to swim, but it still has no result. To be honest, watching your videos of deep water journey like everyday 2-3hours really cures of how I perceive water. You make it like fun and adventurous. Thank you Sir for uploading these videos to watch, it really helps me too to relax. Hoping one day I can really have courage enough to dive deep and swimming skill like you had. Regards. God bless.
Scuba diving is a great way to conquer your fear. It's really not as scary as you think. When you are down underwater and you can breathe and swim around and interact with the world like you belong there, it's really relaxing and fun. Try a scuba class! Really! And thanks for watching!
BlueWorldTV Thank you Jonathan!!
That goes on my bucketlist for sure:) thx for letting me know such an amazing thing
I love your videos!!!!!!!!!
So glad you did an episode on the Flower Gardens. Went this year as I was in Houston and this was the recommended diving. I had never heard of it and wasn't expecting much but as you show it is a hidden gem. The only thing you missed was the crew. They are awesome. It is the only diving I've done where you end with a warm brownie fresh out of the oven :).
Wow just amazing and soon enough I will be a marine biologist thank you Jonathan!
1:19 Whale Sharks come into the gulf of Mexico?! I had no idea. Awesome! Love you Jon!
Yes, lots of them, especially down in the southern part (around the northern tip of the yucatan) where there is a lot of plankton.
BlueWorldTV Cool! I didn't know that!
You are the best one ever
My favorite channel! Thank you for another great video.

I’m so glad I finally purchased a blue world T-shirt.
Look at al those reef systems and that beautiful barracuda!
I like it when the water is around that color.
Wow. Coral spawning events are just so spectacular.
I do like your words you presented,
the life underwater and the blue world.
You have such wonderful timing with the coral spawnings!
Thank you for such achievements in life.
Oh cool, which shirt did you get!?
BlueWorldTV first one on the left of advertised memory. 2XX thanks for the sizes and different colors.
I respect how blue white and gray was a primary color set for the initial clothing line options.
You guys make a great team.

Edson Cheng me too
So lucky to have a partner with the same passion❤️
thanks to your video.I am able to see the beautiful world where I cant wander.
AMAZING VIDEO!!!! NICE
Watch out for that camera. Shouldn't just toss it like that, right!?
I like how air tanks are filled up right after getting out of the water. Good habits.
Those fish look like they are starving...very small amount of plankton often.
Leaving the boat light on.. While descending into the dark water and turning the camera light off would that be better for coral spawn light shows?
Good video footage.
Cool explorations.
Thank you so much friends.
Thanks for watching and for the comments Jonathan!
keep up the good work keep inspiring people and me love you and your vids
Thanks!!
Content is really professional, keep going big man
cool 😀
This was great, thank you.
Loved it !!! I always learn so much on these videos
Just found this channel Jonathan (its amazing!). One day I will study the ocean and I would be lucky to say I am half the diver you are or have done half the great experiences you had. Trouble is finding places I CAN dive in (Im taking pools here not open water xD) Best of luck, FD
Excellent as always, if not done so already, please make an episode on your camera gear and ocean white balancing ;)
I think there are about 5 people who would watch that video! LOL!
Think you be amazed on how many divers are equipment and photograph nerds 😂

The miracle of life! 😍😍😍
yes I have been !!! I recommend los arcos !!!😅😅😅 it's the largest marine reef in the West Coast and mexico !!! you will see tons of tropical fish !!!!
I just love your work....I watch your videos repeatedly, you are enlightening upcoming Marine Biology enthusiasts like me. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. can you comment on Climate change affecting Marine life worldwide or can you simply make a separate episode on that as I feel you would be the perfect person to speak about Climate change affecting Marine life! Thank You.
The thing you need to know about climate change is that the climate has been changing for the entire history of the Earth naturally. The planet has been significantly warmer than it is now. In fact the oceans were 100 feet higher than they are now during some of the inter-glacial periods in the past. And during the last ice age, 15,000 years ago, the planet was much colder, with ocean levels 300 feet lower. The good news is that animals survived all of this by adapting or moving. For example, there is much talk about the great barrier reef suffering with higher water temps. That means that over time, of in fact the ocean continues to warm, the coral will thrive a bit further south towards New Zealand, where the water is the right temperature. Nothing is permanent in the ocean. Change is constant and slow.
That of course doesn't mean we shouldn't be doing everything we can to reduce pollution. I happen to feel that overfishing and pollution of the ocean is a larger threat to the world than climate change.
This was delightful. I am wondering if this area has put the oil spill behind it. Thank you
Ahh a new JBBW episode is the highlight of the week!
Have you ever considered some work with black coral? Come to New Zealand to have a look around!
I would love to get to New Zealand soon!
Beleza muito bom 👍👍👍👍👍😎
Pretty radical dude
0:30 i felt that
That is my dream job
Same
Could you do one on the ocean sunfish?
Hi J!!!i love all your videos. May i ask,what/which video lights are you using?
I am a big fan of the Bigblue Brand of lights. I am currently using the VL5800 lights on my camera. They are a good compromise between power and size. I put a little soft diffusion on them to get a nice wide pattern and a soft edge.

BlueWorldTV thanks!!!!! awaiting for all ur beautiful vidz!!!
Come dive Barbados!
Hi Jonathan! Love your vids, super cool. And your wife is beautiful
Aww! Thanks!
Hey Jonathan, I'm really impressed love your camera work here, the angles you used and the gorgeous panning shots. The texture of the coral just jumps out at you in high-res, and the color is vibrant. Love your wonderful explanations of what we're seeing, and of course the gentle background music that ties things together. I'd love to get to know more about your crew? What do they all do? How many of them remain, how many change for every episode? Looking forward to many more of your videos!
Our fun gang of divers are all friends of mine from here and there. Almost none of them started out as pro video shooters or anything, except for Cameraman Tim. Mostly diver friends with an interest in getting involved and an aptitude for shooting. They all sort of take turns on shoots depending on who wants to go where and who has time.
I want you to go scuba diving at Puerto vallarta Mexico 🇲🇽!!! It is a amazing reef!!!! Go check it out!!
Have you been? What will we see?
BlueWorldTV yes I have been !!!!😅😅😅😅😅it is the largest marine reef in the West coast and mexico !!! absolutely beautiful you won't regret it !!😊😊😊
BlueWorldTV I again recommend los arcos! ! like I said it is the largeSt marine reef in the mexico and the West coast !!!
Some beautiful places there, par-built by those polyps. Wonder where the new ones will build...
Nice to see someone still using a double hose. Is that a Kraken Argonaut?
Yes, I love that thing!
I wish I could dive with mister birds
Is there a connection between BlueWorldTV and Brave Wildrness? they post videos on same time
There is no connection between us, but we are going to be working on a show together in the spring.
Wow Great! waiting for details :)
oren760 that would be cooooollll :o
oren760 since when🤔🤔🤔
Couple goal😍
At 14:35 you can see a white spiny urchin !!!
Next year I'm getting certified. I wanna go to the flower gardens. I live in Houston so it's pretty close. I had no idea. :)
Great dive site. The only problem is that it's about 100 miles offshore, so you have to go on a liveaboard. But the Spree goes there all the time.
@@BlueWorldTV Sounds like a fun excursion. :) For the checkout dives for my open water class (I still need to do the swim test, I barely knew how to swim before and I'm not in the *best* shape but I've been training and taking lessons) we have to travel to mammoth lake (which is about an hour out of where I am) for the checkout dives so I'm gonna be used to traveling to dive. Gonna be an exciting year.
I mean once I was in the Bahamas and this barracuda was just following my brother and i
I like your video
come to croatia we got... nudy branches...
and wrecks :)
MOMO roehl nudibranchs are pelagic gastropods
Any cave diving??
Nice
I subscribe
What is the pattern on the sides of the barracuda called? Not the spots but the mirror like dips and rises that run all along its sides. I got to snorkel in Cuba and a baby barracuda followed me around for nearly half an hour. He never came close enough to pose any danger to me, and I thought he was beautiful!
Snappa🐟
Wow, might visit this place. And I just live near it in louisiana.
Can you guys do a 360 video on the great berier reef
We are playing around with some VR stuff and looking for ways to use it for extras.
3:21 Two oil rigs already visible.
I'm amazed by how many there are. We dove a couple of them and we are doing a video about that soon. Pretty incredible amount of life on them.
BlueWorldTV It is, and they are so many that one could see them from the coast as well.
바라쿠다!!!
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
100 miles...How long did it take to get out there ?
Something like 6-7 hours.
Splease can you try make a moray eel video they're one of my favorite fish
OK, I will look into that for an extra.
BlueWorldTV thank you 😊
short episode but a lot of diving for the recorders huh
Does the water pull you down when you go near the edge ?
No. You have neutral buoyancy.
