I’m going team Scott this year. Hoping to get some good seeds ‘if’, no sorry, when.. you win the pumpkin wars! I like your seed lineup.👍 I’m growing two plants this year, I’ve picked the 1643 New and the 2350 Morse and so far they are doing pretty well. Have you got any tips for me? I grow in New Mexico and it’s really hot, dry and windy here. My goal this year is to beat the New Mexico State Record of 988 Lbs.
Welcome to the team Jake! Use shade cloth over the plant if you can't shade the whole plant the get small tables to shade the vine tips. Good luck, ill check in on your grow throughout the season.
@@growinggiantswithscott I’ve already got enough shade cloth to cover the whole patch. I’ve used the shad cloth before it works pretty well. Thanks any way. I know this isn’t part of the competition but I’m betting that 1965.5 is gonna grow your biggest pumpkin.
Great info
I like that inline fan setup, do you have it on a timer or on a thermostat?
Yes it was on a timer to be on from sun rise to sun set
