- In this full-length interview, legendary hip-hop pundit, Ed Lover, shares his thoughts on the tragic passing of Takeoff by underlining how desensitized the hip-hop community has become to rappers being killed. This prompts Ed Lover to mention the deaths of 2Pac, Biggie, and Nipsey before saying that people still haven't learned.
As the interview moved along, Ed Lover shared his thoughts on the punishment handed down to Kyrie Irving for his controversial re-tweet. Then, he talks about the way in which Rosanne (a television star & TV producer) and Donald Sterling (former owner of the Clippers) lost their careers for their insensitive comments regarding race.
Later, he weighs in on Cher's recent love affair with Amber Rose's ex-boyfriend. Then, he talks about Havoc and Saigon, putting their beef to the side to work with one another before expressing his disappointment that Lil Kim and Foxy Brown never made their 'Thelma & Louise' album. Lastly, he shares his thoughts on Mystikal's legal predicament.

I think that some may be looking out the window wrong when it comes to the cameras. I think the videos / camera footage is a good thing. It may be hurtful, but it allows you to look at the picture and let the picture tell the story. To see some things for yourself, and we need that sometimes. It is always going to be some story tellers in life.

It's funny how all this gangster rap y'all used to make fun of MC Hammer, De La Soul jungle Brothers and Will Smith back in the day Fresh Prince y'all make fun of them you guys didn't embrace the balance now that all these rappers and entertainers are getting killed it's such a 360 for me because I am saddened by the same genre music I grew up with and all I see now is nothing but death and these young kids are not even living to their Prime it's just too much it's so sad when we need to clean up our communities take our kids back go to church pray like we used to do and care and love each other like we used to do as a group but as a whole to be truthful we're not there there are people working hard in the communities there are pastors that are doing right there are mothers that are doing right there are kids that are doing right but in the midst of all of us doing right we got the other side doing wrong and these are people that look just like us so we're getting cut down in the streets we're getting killed we're getting attacked so when as a race of people are black people going to say this is it I can't do this no more..

With respect to child support Ed has it wrong! A woman should be able to take care of her rent by herself? If she was single it would be cheaper. She could get a one bedroom instead of a three bedroom. So she’s supposed to eat the difference? Some men feel child support should not go towards household bills and yes it should! Without the kids, a single woman’s household bills would be much less! 1/3 of the child support should go toward the household bills. The rest is for the children.
