  • In this full-length interview, former drug queenpin and BMF affiliate Brandi Davis elaborates on her upbringing as the daughter of an infamous drug dealer from Detroit, Mr. Davis. She also reflects back on the experience of witnessing some of her friend's dads get murdered before detailing an incident in which her house was raided by the feds. Moving along, she details the trouble that she got into as a high school student before detailing how she met the guys from BMF after she relocated to Atlanta. The Detroit native then discusses several of her shared experiences with the members of BMF before sharing her thoughts on the way in which their empire fell shortly after Big Meech and Southwest T were arrested. She then talks about her rise to prominence as a drug dealer in Detroit before detailing the story of how the feds used a close friend of hers to arrest her and her ex-lover, JT.
Lastly, she talks about serving out a nine-year prison sentence, making the transition from prison inmate to working her first "real job" at a car dealership, and the challenges of raising her son after having missed some very significant moments in his life, while she was behind bars.

What a beautiful woman with an awesome story. I wish her peace, love and happiness for the rest of her days. Her parents might have earned money illegally but they certainly instilled love, family values and loyalty in her that are priceless. After her ordeal, she will never do anything wrong again in life. This interview, her story gave me tears in my eyes.

Well, I just wanted to hear about that side of life that I am not aware of, what a story, what betrayal, what hope after devastation. Glad to hear her say she took all the classes available to her in prison. She educated herself so she could not go backwards. Glad the channel to keep her relationships with her family and son. She has joy seeing her son live a clean life. May her future continue to blossom in the light after walking away from the game, where you have no real friends.

My opinion her dad sounds very selfish and greedy. A good father does not want his daughter with big drug dealers…at that buddy buddy with them. She’s grown, but he put her in this life with no cares of her freedom or safety

Basically just the honest sincere nature of this Sister and the simplistic articulation of a complicated situation and circumstance came through because at heart she was a daddy’s girl gone wrong. But, she unlike so many she admitted to herself and the system she was wrong and willing to pay but will not be held captive to her past. Blessings and Peace to her and I truly wish her well.

God bless you, Brandi. I’m from Toledo (45 minutes away from Detroit) and born in the ‘80s. The drug dealer lifestyle was always a glamorous part of my childhood. Until the addictions, devastation, raids and lengthy prison sentences. Tragic.
