My grandmother was born in cashel 1912 in one of the cottages just below the rock. It was chapel lane back then. My great great grandparents born in cashel too.
Have been lucky enough to visit this beautiful Ancestral site on each visit to Ireland from South Africa... thank you for this presentation, a wonderful connection!
My Great Grandma Mary Moloney was born in Cashel Tipperary in 1872. She travelled to Preston, Lancashire England and married my Great Grandad. So proud to have Irish Ancestry.

A brilliant virtual tour of The Rock. Will be there with an Austrian group in October.
Just beautiful! Thanks for sharing your virtual tour, very informative!
Loved seeing this during my trip to Ireland this year.
The guides have done a excellent job of explaining the history of the Rock of Cashel. Some day I will visit there.!!
Thank you for showing us this most interesting site .
I’m lucky I’m living 3 min walk from the Rock of Cashel and I can see this beautiful building every day from my living room window 😊
If you can, this amazing building is worth a visit, an absolutely spectacular piece of history. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Why dont they restore the Rock of Cashel for heavens sake, look how cool it would be then
