Hi Donna ; 70 yr. old from northern Canadian bush. Three days in the canoe with your loaf .(1) Great heated with wild greens .(2) Warped in my self made dill dough baked in solar oven .(3) backed beans with my own maple syrup over top. You never know where your ideas end up when we share. Thanks for this .
Just back off my holidays in Egypt & just had to reply to your comment. It amazes me that sharing these videos on YT make it across the globe & into a canoe in Canada :) Thank you so much for commenting & letting me know as it brought a smile to my face. I can imagine you out there on your canoe with your loaf as we take it out on our RIB on the rivers here in Yorkshire too :) Its also good to know it stayed fresh for you for 3 days too. Brilliant! Enjoy xxx
Hi Donna : I made this last week after seeing it in Debbie's video and cut it up into little bite size pieces and took into our weigh in at Eaglescliffe up in the north east of England where I live . I took in the recipe as well and it went down very well as I,d mentioned it in class the previous week . This Tuesday coming it's Taster week so I am on the lookout for a dish that is plentiful in size as our class has grown thanks to the new year and the brilliant idea of giving coupons in magazines .
Glad you all enjoyed it Carol. Have you tried the mini quiches? I'm sure I have a recipe video in the playlist whereby I make the quiche mix but use mini silicone cases to make lots of bitesize quiches which are perfect for class ;) xxx
Did you mean the individual ham and egg with whatever else is good in them if so then yes I,ve done them since I started Slimming World Thanks last July as it was one of the first things I watched on KatyJayne SW videos , have done them for tasters and gone down a treat everyone loved them xx
I made this, and its wonderful.....I actually tried it by putting half the mixture in the loaf tin then putting three or four boiled eggs through the middle lengthways, like a gala pie, then put the rest of the mixture on top.....then baked it. When we sliced it, it was just like a gala pie, and even more gorgeous.....Thank you so much x
