- This is my review onboard Germany's flag carrier Lufthansa Airlines, on the A321. I ended up on the 2nd-youngest A321CEO in the airline's fleet. According to Skytrax, Lufthansa is a 5-star airline. However, is that really true? Join me on this flight to Greece, where I will share my opinion on Lufthansa short-haul and determine whether or not they really deserve 5 stars.

nice video. how long was your transit in Frankfurt? we have a 1hr15min connection from Montreal to Athens thru Frankfurt in 2 weeks. is that gonna be enough time? thank you.
The layover was a bit less than 3 hours, but from what I remember it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes for me to get from my DEN-FRA flight with United to the LH FRA-ATH one in this video. But I was traveling with a large group of more than 10 people on this trip, so normally it would have been a lot quicker. So I think you're fine, unless your Montreal-Frankfurt flight gets delayed.

I think they are good. Regarding "Onboard Delughts", I don't know if you are from Germany but they almost exclusively sell German premium brands, so the prices are good value for money!
Yeah some of the prices were okay. They did have good stuff on the menu, but on a 5 star airline I would at least expect a complimentary selection of small snacks/drinks too.
@@K4Ediamond Yes, that is new though, they only introduced that when covid started but I like their new concept more because the free snack before was that typical disgusting airline sandwich with water, now you at least have some choice regarding what you want to eat.
@@mstrmren oh really. I didn’t know that. Was the menu always on board along with free service or did they only introduce it when covid started?
@@K4Ediamond No, before covid there was no menu, just a sandwich with a drink of your choice

Lufthansa IS NOT Skytrax 5-star airline. You are wrong!
Check the video date before assuming that! Lufthansa was downgraded to 4 stars as of June 2022.
I have checked Skytrax 10 best airline list from 2021-2022. And Lufthansa is never part of it.
@@intang.6052 if you look up “Lufthansa 5 star” you’ll find out that Lufthansa lost its 5-star rating in June 2022. Lufthansa never being in the top 10 airlines doesn’t necessarily mean it was never rated 5 star by Skytrax.

Have you flown British Airways ? To me Lufthansa yes 5 stars. BA does not deserve any stars. They do not serve no nothing for free. At least you have a bottle of water and chocolate. Also there is no such thing as free food and drinks it is all included in your ticket price. Bottle of water and chocolate you think they are free ? No they are not. Thanks for the report

I don’t think Lufthansa is bad, I just don’t think they should be considered 5 stars in my opinion.
