Some sets have stamps that I see often, but other areas are so rare that I almost never see except in auctions. Now I'm starting occupation of Dutch Indies, which makes Malayan occupation collecting seem like child's play. Takes a good budget to get beyond the basic easy ones.

The dark side of Japan. I have never seen these stamps in the past. I doubt that I will have a chance to understand them. My Chinese/Japanese is on a padawn status and to diferentiate all the overprints I have to mary a Japanese woman. It is the same like the older Turkish stamps: Nice looking but may be for someone who has a far better backgraound than me. Thanks for showing these exotic stamps.
