Funny vid, many laughs, made me think tho.. If you knew where you were going in the far reaches of space (somehow), could you just, propel yourself to certain places in space without a shuttle with a bunch of items instead? it could maybe be possible if you had insuls to give yourself more time.
You could, though some places are just genuinely in a different plane of existence gameplay wise. Anything you have to FTL too you can't actually space walk too but must things around the station you can get too by throwin shit! probably shouldnt do that do! thats what jetpacks and fire extinguishers are for!
this is quite literally rocket science. we throw stuff out (gas) very fast out of the engine and make the rockets go very fast. Thanks, Newton's Third Law.

Average engineer experience: survive incredible dangers, work hard for your station, proceed to get threatened by command staff over something dumb
This is why you always carry an entire stack of wires in your backpack as enginner.
Remenber, throw to separate them and not use the entire stack!
I got flung from the shuttle mid FTL and managed to throw enough things to catch back up to it and made it to evac

if you have magboots you can try to place one infront of you to stop you from moving further away :3

I am getting to the vgroid using a handheld mass scanner and a bunch of cables. Fire extinguisher works much better though.
