The Ramones were a religion in Argentina. They say that Argentina was the unique place were they played in stadiums for thousands people.Big respect to them and you Rob. Until today in shows of the Foo Fighters or Green Day (in Argentina) the crowd requires "Blitzkrieg bop"
I went Buenos Aries in 1996 a few months after the concert and people were still talking about it.
They are a religion here in The Commonwealth Kentucky as well
Yours is the only reaction that really captures the ramones - thanks for doing it. !
We love the Ramones, it's in our DNA
i was lucky to be there that day. i will never forget the last time i saw them. the band that changed my life for ever. Ramones and Argentina one love.
I used to have a videotape of the full version of this concert. Great band right to the end.
The middle song is R.A.M.O.N.E.S. written for the band by Lemmy from Motorhead, who sang the tune with them at the Ramones' final show a few months later.
There's a story that they tried to hook up with Dee Dee for this show (he was living in Argentina at the time) but he pulled out last-minute.
Argentina ama a los ramones los mejores del mundo
My older brother worked at the Greyhound in Croydon London in 1977 when The ramones played there for 3 nights second night was the ramones ,the stranglers and talking heads

Hey Ho Let's Go I love The Ramones!
Mi viejo me llevo a ese recital, tengo las entradas!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGUANTE RAMONESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HDP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
the second song was written by Lemmy of Motorhead as a tribute song to the Ramones... it's called R. A. M. O. N. E. S.... Don't Cry For Me Now Argentina is a song from a musical about Eva Peron.... the last song has been added to this from earlier in their set... you can tell because they are suddenly wearing their black leather jackets.... n this era, Blitzkrieg Bop is always the fourth song of their set, whereas the first two songs on this video are from the middle.... but the effect is the same... Ramones are always great and pedal to the metal
The best band ever.
Im from Cambodia
I have watched quite a few of your reactions. You really know your music so you know Ramones ushered in a new era in Rock n Roll. I remember the first Ramone song I heard was "Havana Affair". I was about 13 or 14. I gave up the 20 minute guitar solos for a leather jacket, ripped jeans, a shaved head (mom and dad always said to get a haircut so I for once I did what I was told and they still were not happy) and a razor blade earring. I want to introduce you to a band called The Replacements. A punk garage band from the 80's who (some say) spearheaded The Grunge Movement and influenced quite few bands such as Green Day and The Goo Goo Dolls, Pixies and even Nirvana. Here are three but so many more. The bass player is a guy by the name of Tommy Stinson who had a successful 19 year gig in Guns n Roses. Tommy has rock star written all over him. ua-cam.com/video/mfzhtmnVFuQ/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/ftTOEJfzdq0/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/n3XMC_Sk3QE/v-deo.html. Argentina. I would fly to Buenos Aries for a good steak
The Ramones started the "Punk Rock Revolution!!!" They are the inventors of the genre that started in the 70's. Just like Little Richard "The Architect of Rock and Roll" that started in the 50's.
I wonder what it was like for the Ramones to fill up stadiums in Argentina and play relatively large places in Europe, and then go back home to play smalls clubs even during their farewell tours.
Ramones =argentina🇦🇷👍💪
Menos mal que el video silencia al publico y solo agarra el sonido de la banda, no tenes idea lo que cantaba el publico jajaja
Don't Cry For Me Argentina was a theatrical production if I recall by the same cats who did Cats etc - about Eva Peron wife of Juan Peron - the fascist dictator
El "No llores por mí Argentina" surge de un musical de Madonna haciendo de Evita Perón. 💖😘
For his age you’d think he knows something ab the band if he knows the songs they are from nyc not Argentina
react testament: face in the sky
Traducción inglés-español please pelotudooo!!! Ja ja. Saludos desde Quilmes argentina
