My suggestion is to offer a bare minimum reliability kit. I’m not personally interested in reducing my trigger pull, replacing my charging handle, or magazine releases. I’m more interested in making my gun 100% reliable before any other upgrades. Since buying my Ruger PC, I’ve had some issues with stove piping. Im definitely ordering the parts that I think would fix and prevent any future problems.
2 years later and the trigger is still working great! My 11 year old daughter has no issues with shooting with all the upgrades, besides being a little heavier rifle. Glock mags working fine.
I just bought a pc9 and noticed that it didn’t come with 2 bolt head retaining pins just like in this video! I thought I lost it. Spent 5 mins crawling around the floor looking for it to see if I dropped it. Wth is wrong with your quality control Ruger?! Ordered the bolt head pins from mcarbo. Thanks guys for coming through.

I never even liked this firearm and it stayed in my safe. The trigger was atrocious! Now she has become the gun I show to my keltec hating friends.
I did install this entire package on my PC carbine in 40 S&W (spring of '20)and it runs like a dream. Added the Midwest Ind 14inch forend + chassis and BCM Stock and MDT AR grip in Dec. What a transformation over the stock rifle.
On the Ruger 10/22 , I would like a "ledge" for the bolt release . The modification to hold the bolt open would be good also . The original is kinda small and I always have to search/feel for it . I might be wrong but I would like it to be larger as it would also make it easier when using gloves .

Why was the trigger spring and extra power recoil springs all discontinued???? Was it because they discovered they didn’t function properly in the gun when actually firing live ammunition? Dry firing vs live ammo firing are two different animals. I do love that better designed extractor though.
The bundle is discontinued but not all the parts. Also it’s a good resource for the PC Carbine even if you are using competition parts. MCARBO are very pro 2A even for other countries, (example Canada a pretty small market that for most businesses isn’t worth the headache and paperwork required to post to). So even if they lose a little business to their competitors they gain more 2A allies. (Also MCARBO fans are pretty rabid because of their extremely good service and quite excellent and very serviceable parts, (they aren’t the best quality aftermarket supplier but they may be the best for their service). BTW I am very biased and an extremely satisfied customer. I had parts breakage from an early generation Sub2000 extended bolt handle. One quick email and 2 days later a new one arrived at my door. I didn’t get that kind of service from any other aftermarket or even major gun company.
Upgraded my PC9 Carbine with whatever you have available still and everything is perfect, especially the extractor and pins for the bolt head pins and the recoil pad. I highly recommend those to other PC9 owners. It took a great gun and made it perfection.

great improved parts for the PC Carbine, I have them all on my Carbine the only difference I bought the parts 1 or 2 at a time as you guys came out with them. I probably paid more buying them one at a time as you came out with them. but it was worth it they were all a great modification for the rifle.
Yep last time out with my Ruger PC it started the BS on me. Im only at about 300 rounds and I couldn't shoot 1 mag without having 80% failure to exstract. I was hoping it was my barrel out of adjustment but unfortunately that was not the issue. I will definitely be replacing all the internals on this gun. I allready have a good compensator and I have the eco trigger, so I won't be buying the bundle but I will be buying everything else.

I purchased the HD recoil spring, Extended mag. release and the Extended bolt handle. I did not like the extended mag. release. When carrying the carbine it would bump my body and the mag would fall out so I put the original release button back on. I plan to get the MCARBO extractor and the bolt pins. Good job.
I registered for the E-mail notification when this kit came "back in stock" on Mcarbo site. Now the performance kit package is taken of the website listing. Guess the package-deal on these components was to good for us simple mortals 😌 I would buy it without hesitation (hands down) in a heartbeat. And I don't even need all the parts in the kit,,, since I already tuned my PCC with some Tandemkross parts. For example the Mcarbo trigger is nicer than the straight Tandemkross trigger. I'm not sure I agree with the difficulty in getting parts from Ruger. I stripped a part due to my own carelessness and just called them up, said what I'd done, and they mailed me a new part. The two times I've leaned on Ruger support they've been excellent.

Chris, since you have removed the old charging handle and installed the new, is it possible to take the old charging handle and install it on the left side giving you two charging handles so multiple people using all don't have to charge it left or right-handed?
the bolt heads pins did not fit right, either they were wrong or ruger piece was, they almost got stuck in there, I had to just take my time to get them out. everything else was fine.
Well well, wouldn't ya know it. Didn't have this last week so bought the same parts + 1 extra handle. It looks like the price difference was less than 10bucks. Oh well, it didn't take me quite an hour to change out the parts. Great parts and worth every penny.

Now how about an M-CARBO Delrin ("engineering grade polymer") magazine CATCH ? (So Glock and Magpul mag catch notches don't wear as they do with the RUGER metal mag catch.) UPDATE: I got a 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine and everything you have in the kit except the trigger (since I may get a Franklin armory binary trigger) and recoil spring, which you no longer offer, plus your MINI brake. Everything works perfectly. I'm so glad these upgrades are available because I will be shooting my PC carbine a LOT and within a year will likely have 2,000 rounds down the tube. Enhanced reliability is what I need.
At just over 800 rnds last time out had my first failure to extract. So I put in your extractor & pins last night. (Took only 15 min) Now can't wait to take it back out. Had also noticed ejection began to appear more sluggish sometime after 500 rounds.
You should add a better version of the two takedown pins that hold the trigger housing to the receiver. Mine just fall out now after taking it apart so many times.

I just bought this model yesterday and in the process of swapping the receiver I too had a pin fall out on me. Also another piece that was hammer punched and cannot for the life of me figure out where it came from!! I'm sketched out now. Everything functions as normal but maybe you can help me here. ???? Still waiting on that tool steel ejector arm to make it a complete overhaul. Bending ejector arms are the only thing you guys haven't covered yet.

That missing pin is EXACTLY why I always disassemble and inspect my firearm when I first get it, before ANYTHING else.

Very nice video. A friend just got one of these carbines and wants me to install some accessories for it.
I suggest going a bit over 2 turns on the trigger. Mine wouldn't reset properly when pulled slowly. Only worked while yanking it

They should all be interchangeable. The firearm guy just swapped the barrels between the rifle and pistol and everything worked just fine.

Are you guys any closer to having the spring package ready as a part I can order? I am close to pulling the trigger on several of your other parts, but will wait a bit if the springs are coming.
I have the model hunting rifle I was wondering can you take off that stock and add a magpul stock and Pistol grip ?
All I'd want would be the new trigger, trigger job, and the sturdier pins(And maybe the muzzlebrake)I'm otherwise quite happy with the rest of how it's made.

Where on the M*CARBO website is this Ruger PC carbine bundle ?
They discontinued it. I sent them an email and apparently guys were also using it in the charger and problems came from it.
Any chance you guys will make a decent set of iron sights for this?
I just bought this model yesterday and in the process of swapping the receiver I too had a pin fall out on me. Also another piece that was hammer punched and cannot for the life of me figure out where it came from!! I'm sketched out now. Everything functions as normal but maybe you can help me here. ???? If there's a way I'd like to show you. I have not seen it in this video
