so the book's pizza recipe makes your typical average diner pizza. that's actually pretty clever on the writers' part lmao
Nah man they didn't care. I have the book and nothing in it feels competent
That's why Matpat did a Food Theory episode before he left@@sho829
your local diners have a very disappointing pizza then, i only find stuff that unimpressive in cafeterias, fairs and theme parks
@@prcerviso it’s lore accurate is what I’m hearing
@@creed8712 chucky cheese pizza is a might bit better then that, so accurate to the pizzaplex at least but likely worse then what the pizzaria had
usually the games have a reoccurring bit of “fazbear company ignores the atrocities and pretends like nothing bad ever happens” so i like that the book stuck with that theme :)
Ong
Looks accurate somewhat to a fancy chuck e cheese like what fnaf sb's pizza plex would serve
Nope it's not. I own the book and 100% it is not accurate
The little scream when you popped up on the tv got me dying
uraAah
If only he played FNAF Reimagined (2023)…
The very same Reimagining that made everybody even more scared than the Original.
Bro really has the best intros
Fr
His name is Freddy
He rlly do tho.
I gifted this book to a friend for a Secret Santa and he made some sort of oat bars/brownies (not sure what they were) and he said that they were really good.
Also, I was gifted the Magic: the Gathering cookbook and this isnprobably the prettiest cookbook I have. My collection is a fraction of yours, but I really like it. The recipes are all really cool and different from the usual. Strongly recommend!
Hold up, there's a MTG cookbook? I'm a huge fan of the card game but I've never heard of this. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Gonna give it a look
Always love this series! Also, you should try out the Unofficial Sims cookbook
I'll check it out!
SECONDING THIS!!
@@MisoHungrieyou should do the mythical cookbook as well
i like the design of this cook book, but I wish the recipes were more character inspired. but the waiting payed off and I really loved this video :D you're one of my fave comfort UA-camrs :))
intros on point as always 😂 I love your videos, may there never be a shortage of pop culture themed cook books!
Definitely!! Thanks for watching 😊
As a FNaF fan, I've been waiting for you to check this one out 😄
lol I love that you kept trying with those jump scares 😂😂😂
Thanks, I've been waiting for you to do this as both a Fenaf and Misohungrie fan.
Hope you enjoyed it!
I did very much.@@MisoHungrie
I've been waiting for you to cover this cookbook! 😊
Always love your content, keep up the great work
I bought this book a couple of weeks ago. It's really cool seeing the recipes come to life, and your review on it as well!❤
Ive really enjoyed your cookbook reviews. Hope to see the second D&D cookbook soon, as well as the Magic the Gathering cookbook. Ive been using your videos to help me decide if i should buy specific cookbooks
Yes!! I've been waiting for this video since the book came out!! 💖
Honestly I love your intros so much. They are so funny and you are every time thinking of a good concepts that suits you and the content. Laughed so much 😂 + the scenes between 😂
Love your videos so much, Miso! ❤
I just stumbled across this channel but I’ve binged so many videos already. Love this content
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching the vids 😊
I recently discovered your channel today, and I love how descriptive you are when it comes to tasting the food you make! you definitely have a passion for food and it shows
Thank you! I try to be as detailed as possible when it comes to describing the books and food so I hope it helps!
My niece and I love your cookbook videos so much !! keep it up
thanks to your video i actually bought this cookbook and used it! two nights ago i made the thai chicken burgers and they were great, the slaw in particular was amazing. it was also my first time cooking basically ever and it was fun! thanks for the review and inspiring me to try something new
your vids always make me happy
Yes finally i've been waiting for this video ever since i found your channel!
Hope you enjoyed it!
I've been waiting for this moment, and now it's finally here!
Dang no recipe for Chica’s cupcake
That's what I'm saying
Actually there was
Been waiting for this one! Going to enjoy it!
Just turned a bad day into a good day with one UA-cam notification. Keep it up! ❤
Glad to hear it! Thank you 😋
Now I want you to review a Godzilla cookbook
Didn't know there was one coming up! I just added it to my list - thanks for the heads up!
Fun video once again and always a welcome watch. I hope Miso has some fresh hot bites of some of this stuff. I feel like there could be something missed in eating cold food but I understand there is only so much time, food, kitchen, appetite, cameras, and editing time. 👍
Sweet I requested this episode!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Hey there! Fnaf fan and guy who also happens to own the book! I can give you the full context of how bad it is as a fnaf product.
The first problem is the book is themed and presented as a Security Breach book despite it obviously being more towards all the characters from the series which makes the lack of Glamrock recipes frustrating.
Second where's all the pizza? Seriously the franchise is all about pizza joints so why is there only 2 pizza recipes in it?
Third a lot of the recipes don't make sense in context of the characters or what they are about. For example Foxy gets pulled pork which makes zero sense cause he's a pirate and would realistically have fish dishes. And Roxanne Wolf gets a Chocolate mouse recipe which doesn't make much sense or reflects her at all. And the Buddha Bowl. That sure ain't a dish anyone would buy from a pizzaria.
Fourth the images used are all over the place as a lot are old renders from the mobile game. Which make no sense such as Ring Leader Foxy being in the book, but not so much as referred to or mentioned directly in the recipe. Same goes for Nightmare Chica who has no reason to exist in the book and stands out being the only Nightmare present in it.
This book was simply thrown together because there was a demand for it. The people who made it did not care at all over whether or not it made sense.
yeah a lot of it is just random recipes with an animatronic slapped on it
@@chicknbisque what's really sad is how this isn't even new for the franchise Scott putting his approval for halfbaked products is far too normal
@@sho829seriously.. if only this had avatar cookbook levels of effort 😔 (sanshee please come back to us)
@@chicknbisque hell I know of an easy way to fix it and just make a Security Breach book with sections based on
Freddy = regular pizzaria arcade food
Chica = healthy chicken recipes
Roxanne = bbq recipes with a lot of heat
Monty = Louisiana soups and stews
El Chip's = hispanic dishes
Vanny = harder to make ishes with a focus on gore for her
And every character gets at least 2 pizza recipes each with accompanying drinks
Also Gregory GETS NOTHING!
Wow! I didn't know that cookbook is so bad. Sad to read about it. And only 2 pizza recipe? Even TMNT had more pizza recipes. I think the FNAF fans should make their own cookbook.
I love these vids, but seeing your creativity with the intros I wanna see some of your own original content. It'd be hella fun
Thank you! I might do some of my own recipes down the line if I think of a good idea
Production is on point. I found your pag through the FO nuka cola video. Keep it up!
Thanks! Will do!
the jumpscares were so funny 😭😭
also i love watching these videos because i didn't have an idea what to make for dinner then slowly realizing i have all the ingredients for the thai chicken patties... im defintely going to try that tonight. i love this series so much thank you!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for taking my suggestion you are my favorite UA-camr
Yay! I'm glad you covered the FNAF cookbook. I loved the intro and the jumpscares between recipes. 😂
Thanks for doing these
Word of advice for the pizza *let the dough rest longer!*
When I first made the pizza it was skinny and way too dense so I let it rest in the freezer until the next day and it made a HUGE difference in the pizza! It was way more soft and fluffy like a pan pizza from Domino's!
Eggs Benedict.
If this isn't the official cookbook for fnaf, it needs to be.
It says "The Official Five Nights at Freddy's Cookbook"
This channel makes me hungry. I got to try some of these cookbooks when I can
Whatever cookbook you end up getting, I hope you enjoy it!
I always love seeing a new video from you pop up in my feed Miso, I feel like even if I'm not interested in the book you're showing it's always a good time. And you actually sold me on this book lol. I think having a book with a number of diner-esque recipes will be a boon for me and I saw the hard cover on Amazon for 12 bucks today so snatched it up. I definitely hear what you're saying about them playing it too safe though. I have no ties to the franchise but feel like there was some potential for some out there stuff for sure.
Glad I can help! Hope you enjoy the book 😊
Those intros are always so good, I love em lol
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks 😊
Great video!
I'm so happy you finally reviewed this! I was waiting for a long time ^w^
Ngl tho im kinda disappointed they only used like 8 charas... where is Mangle? Music Man?? Candy Cadet??? The Puppet???
@@JoselitoSimpsForAlastor the puppet is in there for the veggs Benedict recipe I think
@jessecrafts2630 he only showed the og 4 and the glamrock 4.
@@JoselitoSimpsForAlastor pause at 3:14
@jessecrafts2630 aaahhh, thnx. Wonder why he only showed the 8 tho??? And is Mangle in it?? Tbh she my favourite.
I'm not a FNAF fan but deffinetly a fan of your cooking videos
YAY NEW MISO VID
Personally I like to think the recipes playing it safe is just further implying that Fazbear Entertainment made this book, they were known by us fans to be corner-cutting Penny pinchers trying to make money anywhere they can and cover up the events of the games since the creator (Scott Cawthon) canonically lives in that universe and made the games to tell everyone the truth.
I cant believe Chica would just eat her own like that god damn thats brutal.
Fun fact about this book:
Matpat (THE source for Fnaf lore and theories on UA-cam) actually heavily critisised this book due to the lack of a theme.
Basically, the recipes are not really connected to the characters. And to top this, William Afton (the big bad evil guy of the entire franshise) has no recipe commited to him. This Book was probably not made for fans of the lore. Kinda like the movie.
But as someone who does own the book, it is still a very funny and creative cookbook overall.
I think Purple Guy's "dish" would just be toast with Exotic Butters and grape jam
@@TheSonicFairy Matpat made his dish a double fried steak sandwich (he did suffer in a burning building).
And he added a runny egg to symbolise the springlock failure.
Edit: grammer
The jump scares and your Arnold Schwarzenegger jump scares scream was so entertaining to watch!
Slightly off topic but you should totally do a vs with cupcakes! Maybe from my Pokémon cookbook and my Pokémon baking book?(for extra challenge)
I tried the pizza. It kinda reminded me of pizza you would get at a typical arcade. Not like Chuck E. Cheese which to me is a good thing. I will say that the taste of the pizza is definitely objective, depending on how bland you like your foods. I don’t mind simple foods so it was a good one for me.
Quick hack for the pizza. Add some shredded Parmesan and slices of mozzarella to boost the cheesiness
100% agree with the parmesan! That's what I've been doing this week with my extra pizza ingredients
"I haven't played the games, but I'm interested in them" congratulations, you are an official fnaf fan
The cookbook should have had a recipe for Chicas cupcake. That would've been so cool.
If you spray the measuring container you put the honey in with cooking spray first, that should help it slide out a lot easier when you pour it.
That's smart! Thanks for the tip 👍
That intro 😆
I would try all the food you made. Love the creepy diner look. 👻. Btw, your One Piece video is on UA-cam’s Anime in Action playlist. Congrats 🥳 🎉
Wow I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know and I'm glad you liked the intro! 😋
The Thai burger looks amazing, I'll try it
1:58 this aesthetic is actually a 50s aesthetic that became a retro throwback in the 80s lol
Generally though, this cook book feels like a stock recipes book that had some FNAF lore thrown in it. None of the recipes are era appropriate.
I'm with you, man: I'm sure I wouldn't LIKE it, but I'd wanna at least TRY a legit Sodaroni out of morbid curiosity.
this man is way more effective at scaring me than anything in this series ever could. and i hope he takes that as a compliment lol
Most comforting screamers xD the « sour face » made my day 😂
This is not lore-accurate; the pizza is too edible.
For the Sodaroni, did the recipe call for cran juice or cran juice cocktail? I think the latter might have worked better sweetness wise.
Oooh that chicken burger looks AMAZING! I don't eat chicken so I wonder if it'd be good with a salmon burger instead.
Gonna recommend again you check out the Stardew Valley cookbook when it releases. Love your channel!
I was wondering that about the Sodaroni as well but it does call for juice and not cocktail. And I most certainly have the Stardew one on my radar!
So far I've only made the mac and cheese from this cookbook but it was really really good. For anyone who has the book, I totally recommend making it!!
Actually, whenever I first bought this book, I was told it was meant for kids to get into food whether it be cooking, good or trying stuff out of other comfort zone.
Miso just really wants to drink a pepperoni smoothie for some reason.
Was that the bite of 87?
This needs more likes 😂
the FOOD bite😂😂
YES I WANTED YOU TO REVIEW THE FNAF COOKBOOK FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!
I tried Sodaroni with blueberries and thought it was very good. My Step dad liked it too.
I like your vids 👍
I can understand why they didn’t make a lore accurate Sodaroni recipe. To give soda a flavor like that would require every expensive and specific equipment to pull off so they just thought it'd be better to make a more traditional recipe
Guy's, we have people who built irl maps from the games. We have people making actual animatronic's from the series, And now we have the cookbook. i think you all see how this is gonna go.
Pro tip when it comes to no cook pizza sauce. Grab some jared or canned sun dried tomatoes and fire roasted red bell peppers, take a table spoon or so if each, madh them up, and add it to the sauce. it's a really easy way to add some depth and extra flavor to red sauce when you're short on time or to tired for something that takes more effort.
The food actually looks good
My Aunt got me this for my birthday. I've only done two recipes, so far. I definitely don't recommend the Glamrock Freddy fully loaded hotdogs to those who dislike sourkraut and homemade relish or even ketchup, and make sure you use the blender long enough when making the Superstar Daycare strawberry shake. I messed that up. Probably would've been better if I did it correctly.
Out of all the things I’ve made from the cookbook, I recommend The Monty mocktail and the Chica fried chicken.
Finally, I waited so long when you make review of this cookbook.
They should have made an actual pepperoni drink recipe.
i would love to see how the mythical cookbook food is from rhett and link! they have some interesting recipes
The paranoia after the jumpscares is real
I actually own this cook book. I can say that Bonnie has an awesome burger and I can't wait to make more when I get there!
the pizza looks so good i need just a bite
The 'jumpscares' made me laugh way too hard 😂
Your jump scares are so healing for the trauma the horror genre has given me, I should just imagine this video when I accidentally scroll through horror, 10 out of 10 😂❤❤
Lol sending out good vibes through the spook! 👻
oh yeah, this one’s gonna blow up for sure
In terms of it being safe that this was something the company made in house.
I have the book. So far we've made the salmon burgers, nachos, plunder bars and pepperoni pizza.
How i knew fnaf since i was 4 and didnt know this exciting
the tired eye contact after the jump scare had me laughing.
He finally did it……bless the bear…
I was about to comment "needs more jumpscares" but then the transition between 2 and 3 happened
I’m gonna get the book for myself, but I wish the sections made more sense like for instance chica or Freddy could’ve been pizza but glam rock Gator is drinks some of them seem like they had no idea and just threw something random at it and I think if they added more characters and even the horror parts of it, they could’ve made the book a lot larger and had some really cool recipes
i always cant help but wonder if the foods gone cold by the time hes finished cooking and gets to try it
I try to finish them all around the same time but if I can't I just pop them in the oven/stovetop for a bit to reheat
As much as I hate these games, seems like a decent cookbook. I might try recreating that Thai chicken burger in the future
Should do the supernatural cookbook
you are the first person that couldnt make me jumpscare
Yum
5:36 golden ay
Two things. First, I bet the sauce would be better with fresh basil instead of dried oregano and being left to sit for a couple hours. Second, if you want to know what real Sodaroni tastes like, the closest thing that actually exists is probably the China pop they have at Club Cool in Epcot. It tastes like BBQ sauce.
