It was this moment I fell in love with Donna and she became my favorite companion. One of the Doctor's greatest friends and it makes me so emotional. Friendship is so powerful
"I'm The Doctor and you're in the biggest library in the Universe. Look me up." is one of my favourite badass moments of the show. Shame it didn't make the cut in terms of the reaction. I hope Deepa's okay after this one - it's a lot to deal with when 100% well!
5:17 "So why are there six?" I really like that part, because I didn't notice it myself. And I like when something surprises me like that inn shows. / And I like the smile that comes on Luke's face before, and then Deepa's reaction. :)
"Jim is sittin' there, right next to ya.... So who's typing?" "End of the tape. It ran out about 30 seconds ago." Steven Moffat is a master of that sort of thing.
You two are fast becoming my favourite DW reactors. Deepa is so expressive and because we all know what's coming and how it relates to Deepa's reactions, those looks Luke gives to camera are classic. Loving it.
As a lifelong Dr Who fan I love these videos, so interesting to see her reactions as she's watching them for the time. can't wait until you do the next one 😀
Oh I love this two parter, it's so brilliant and get so much sadder once you know who River is. By the way "Everybody lives" is a callback to "the doctor dances" in S1 (are you my mummy?) Both two parters were written by the same Man.
The one with the scene where you realise just _how good_ Donna understands the Doctor. That whole "all right" scene still gives me chills! Again, love your reactions! Can't wait for the next couple of episodes! It's gonna get so good!
I knew that Deepa would be sick this week. I can even pinpoint the exact moment when cross contamination happened in last week's video. I have major OCD skills.
Luke, you describing the lead character of Daybreak as cute is so relatable. That was literally me, I saw a cute guy (Colin Ford) on the Netflix thumbnail and thought, “ooh, that must be worth watching”, it’s great fun (I’m two episodes in), and there is eye candy, not just the main guy, but other guys as well.
Thanks to Deepa ....i have now thanked my nose for getting me through the summer allergy free ! Beautifully random as ever you two are a class double act !
I love this two parter. On rewatch all the clues about the plot are right there in plain sight. Like the logo on the computer is the same as the rug on the living room floor. Small details that you miss and then make yo feel stupid because it's right there. Plain as day easy to work out. Just shows how good the story and writing are. Can't wait for next week, well the next month really.
You two picking those names is so funny because my cousin is called Isabelle and my uncle is called Richard lmao Also, fun fact: When River whispered into the Doctor's ear, Alex Kingston (her actress) was actually saying very sexually explicit things to get the right reaction from David Tennant.
So much I want to say, but can't for obvious reasons! 🤫 You know those horrible Sunday night feelings when you had school the next day... this is what I could have done with to get me through! 😉 Luke's look to the camera when Deepa shouted "Spoilers!" was everything!! 🤭 Until next Sunday... have a great week guys x
Not really. In that reaction we joked that they made such a big thing about Jenny and yet have never followed it up. They easily could’ve made the same mistake here with River 🤷♀️
People say the Weeping Angels are the creepiest thing in Doctor Who, but personally I think the Vashta Nerada are even scarier... then again, I'm over 30 years old and still have a light on at night, so I suppose that's not too surprising. Also, I really don't much like River... she annoys me so much with her attitude, especially in this episode. She worries about spoilers, but she's dropping tiny little hints everywhere, which are basically little spoilers... like, either speak up or shut up... I know it's a highly unpopular opinion, but River... just ugh.
I love so much about this, but it also shows my biggest issue with Moffat. He insists on building up the Doctor as a mythological figure even more than anyone before him, which isn't that bad, but consistently the way he does so is by putting down all the Doctors before Matt Smith. The ego it takes to create River Song and have her tell David Tennant to his face that he's not the REAL Doctor yet... to write that into RTD's own series. The fucking gall.
They couldn't bring back Jenny as David Tennant married the actor who played her, so there would be that weird element of a doctor daughter wife...ew that just hurt my brain.
You neglected to mention that she is also Peter Davidson's daughter, so yes, she is literally the Doctor's daughter-wife. I don't know if her maiden name ties into it but it's still ironic that she's a Moffett too.
I'm sure you're not the only one, but from the comments I've seen, it's the minority. A lot of people hated a future companion as well, impossible though that may seem.
Nope. Didn’t laugh at his stutter when the character was introduced, so obviously we don’t find stutters funny. Laughing later on when they get separated is awkward/uncomfortable laughter which pretty much occurs on this channel whenever a character dies. And OBVIOUSLY we don’t find death funny either. Please don’t make assumptions.
Why is everyone cutting the best scene ever out? The whole speech when he confronts them with his legacy. Why most on youtube cut it out, leave that emotional sentimental crap in the end out, but not such an awesome Doctor moment !! You make me sick...
Donna Noble with THE best reaction to finding out she lives in the Matrix.. "What? I have been dieting".
River's death still gives me chills 11 years later.
Violet same
At the time I thought it was gonna be another Jenny incident, I'm so glad I was wrong.
10:24 -How about you, are you alright?
-Oh, I'm always all right.

My favorite Who moment ever.

Luke's reaction and look to the camera when Deepa shouted "Spoilers" 🤣
Really getting into it.
"You watch us run"
TEARS IN MY EYES. It is so painful when you know

I was looking forward to Deepa reacting to the Doctor’s mini speech where he says, “Look me up”. Damn the ten minute law.

@@paulkennedy8701 Reminds me of Nolan actually. Very complicated and circular stories that feel incredibly simple when all lain out at the end.

ahhhh the one episode that never fails to make me cry
I honestly live for you two. When these videos get uploaded, it's like catching up with friends. It's really lovely.
I can't want this episode without tears falling from my face.

Can't believe we have got through so much Doctor who. How time flies by.
Loved this reaction video guys can’t wait until the end of the season!!

The final scenes always brings a tear to my eye. Best 2 parter of season 4.

River's speeches in this episode about the Doctor still get me so emotional!
"Who is River? To him..."
"That's a good question."
Lol, gotta love Luke doing little things like that

Sounds like I’m going to have to give it a go, doesn’t it 😂 the thirst is real
Lukeyread the thirst is mot definitely real! 😂😂

I love rewatching this episode once you know what it means.
Thanks
Great episode. Great reaction. Hope you both are feeling better soon!
Deepa laughing at that poor guy stuttering Donna's name is the funniest thing I've seen in a while

Nice reaction. Feel better. you two :)
Deepa on the rollercoaster of emotions that is Forest of the Dead.
I love how Deepa just talks over the big clue ...
Best reaction yet! :D

Been waiting for this ❤️
"None of it's real!"
"Am I real?"
Alright! Which one of you guys put these tears on my face. Every time with this episode
5:42 is a mood 😅 *just alot of things*
Deepa on top jump scare form. And as per usual sitting stone faced as River dies!
Wow, when she paused at my name is I instantly said Isabella. That was freaky.
Been waiting all day for this one. 👍
wheres midnight? can't wait to see your reactions to it :) x
After the last night on Durillium come back and rewatch this episode. You'll have a totally new perspective.
I'm your newest subscriber
Your girlfriend is living proof that girls with (at least some) Indian heritage are the best :D
Honestly you two laughing at inappropriate moments is becoming such a meme now 😂
I had hoped Lee's stutter progress would stick after being physically reconstituted. It is neurological, after all.
Sometimes shock & emotions can bring stuff like that back, even temporarily, so it does make sense as to why he stuttered
Deepa's so funny during the stressful episodes 😅
Everybody lives!!! 😁
Hey, you didn't have to give away that we still haven't seen Jenny. By contrasting the two you pretty much confirmed there's more from River to see.
Not really. In that reaction we joked that they made such a big thing about Jenny and yet have never followed it up. They easily could’ve made the same mistake here with River 🤷♀️
7:08 Oh no, she's gonna fall again.
Hohoho bring on the rest of the season 😈
Midnight next. My fave ep!
Hey Luke, just curious, when’s ETN EP07 reaction? (I’m sorry if I’m annoying, just love the reactions ❤️

deepa is gonna love the other seasons :)
Luke will be bald by the time he is 30
I hope not. Massive foreheads run in my family. Hair loss doesn’t. Time will tell 🤷♀️

This is not meant to be a mean comment but "Lady D" looked like she was waiting to be rebooted when this first started.....hahahahaha
4:20 (hahaha). I like that even in England the black guy does not wish to give up his chicken......we have more in common then we would like to admit.
