Nice review on something I hadn’t even heard about. On the other end of the dongle spectrum, are you thinking of checking out the Cayin RU7? I know you loved the RU6 and the RU7 is showing similar promise with pretty unique DAC technology.
I bought this one today, but I am not able to find any difference with the audio quality. Probably I am doing something wrong. I just connected it to my Honor 8 Pro and iPhone 7 plus and played some music on VLC on both. The difference between connecting my KZ EDX Pro IEM directly to the phones or having the DAC in between made no difference to me. (My ear cannot perceive the difference!!??)
Sir, I am an keen audio enthusiast and love listening music. But, this lil dongle DAC(Ifi Go Link) didn't make any difference to my music quality listening from my phone(Asus Rog 5s + Apple Music + Truthear Hola). The inbuilt DAC in the phone I think it is of the same grade / class if not better. I was expecting greatly from it after hearing praises from prominent reviewers about it. What could be the issue here?
The value of this product is it’s convenience. To me the sound difference between this product and the apple dongle is minimal. But what is good about this thing is that it will generate about 10-20% more volume than the apple dongle. I have the iphone 13. Results could vary from phone to phone. So you can go (with my phone for example) from a song that you wish was a little louder to the same being just loud enough. Of course this varies from different headphones and IEMs. And if you’re really desparate you can use this with the DT 990 600 ohm version, but you won’t have to worry about hurting your ears.
The Apple dongle is a DAC only just to get that digital signal back into the required analog signal for earphone drivers, most of these other dongles are DAC/Amps, therefore of course they should sound better otherwise they would be a scam.
How is it perform with hexa? I am new to this iem things i started my journery with hexa. I have iphone 12 mini and laptop with usb A. So I am curious how hexa will sounds with ifi go link ?
Check out thr Questyle M15 if you get the opportunity. I thought I was done with dongles and source equipment in general then found one for discount and will probably replace everything on my desk with it. It drives my t60rp Argons and even my 300 ohm ZMFs without issue. It's not as versatile as a Mojo 2 but man does it sound just as good for 1/3rd of the cost.
It drives full size headphones fine, driving Sony MDR700s very loud
Thanks. I'm expecting one in a couple of days.

Try the dawn pro and see if you think there’s a difference-we all have different tastes.
Why is nobody comparing this to the Audioquest Dragonfly range ???
Not a fan of the Dragonfly stuff myself. i guess I do have a black laying around somewhere.

Can I connect the go link to my integrated amplifier using my iphone?

Did you compare it to any other donge dac on the same price category ?
Similar price iBasso Dc03 pro is miles ahead of it

Is it enough for dt770 and hd560s?
Probably, maybe not if the 770 is the 250ohm, but the others should be fine.
@@MrAyrit only 80 ohm mate
