Man, Brett Lee is truly unique. Bowling 90+ for that long a period: don't think any one but him and the West Indians in 80s have done that.

Love this. I used to copy Sorabh Pant's bowling action as a kid.
He had one of the least smooth bowling actions ever.

Bonds action was so classically gorgeous and yet extremely fast unlike other chuckers..was truly heartbroken inspite being an Indian that injury cut short his career..similar category to Simon Jones.. if not for injuries what glorious long careers they would have had
Oh yeah - Simon Jones also had a lovely action. Bond, Steyn, Younis, Akram - probably the most fast bowling lovely actions out there.
NZ had those bowlers like Gavin Larsson.
The guy once bowled 10 maidens in row, NZ even opened with him at 1 point.
He was just accurate at 110 kmh.
I think they had one more bowler who used bowl with him .I guess he was Chris Harris. They were medium pacers.wicket to wicket bowlers. Amazing with keeping the run rate down and taking wickets as well.
Oh my god - yes. I used to get so frustrated watching him - but, he obviously knew exactly what he was doing.
We discussed Chris Harris - was always fascinated by Chris Harris.

Bond could have had as glorious a career as dale steyn. He was lethal and unplayable.

Steyn is actually a great reference for Bond - though going by his averages etc., Bond moved the ball even later than Steyn.
Now we know how Sorabh got those wicket in CCL . Tips from Shane and Shoaib seem to have worked. Btw Sorabh great ball to get Gulbahar out after getting bashed earlier 😂😂

With Such a beautiful still aggressive action, he would swing the ball out from shoulder height. Master. I saw him a little but he left a mark, as did lee, akhtar, Steyn.
